- In this video I explore the controversial game known as Lollipop Chainsaw which came out for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 12th, 2012. It is rumored this game is being remade in the summer of 2024. Lollipop Chainsaw features the likes of Tara Strong and movie director James Gunn. This is a brief but powerful retrospective on a game that mixes haphazard ideas into an amalgamation.

Lolpop chainsaw was a lovable step child of Bayonetta. I have zero faith in the remake not being censored.
Juliet Starling was like Harley Quinn's little sister and I hope it isn't censored too.
It’s not censored
Its not censored
I pre-ordered so it better Damn well not be
@@Yesitsmyrealname I preordered too ^^
Implying some of the voice actors are unknowns compared to Tara strong is wild lmao pretty good video though!
Yeah, I lost my mind when he said "they're not as diverse". They are more diverse, if anything. 😂
Like did he really say that about the sexiest Velma of all time in the greatest live action outting of Scooby Doo ever.
Yeah, that and "Ark-Ham" games LOL. The younger kids are so confused LOL
Brillaint game. Great humour, soundtrack and gameplay. In my top 5 games.
Tarra Strong is basically a legend with her voice acting work
I remember back in 2012/2013 coming home from school eager to play this game on my brothers ps3 lol
Have you played it again recently?
@@NatquerxNo but I would love to play it again, unfortunately, I don’t have that game or a ps3 anymore
@Oneheart21 there's a remaster coming out in September if you have next gen consoles or a Switch lol
What I love about lollipop chainsaw is that it really feels like a game the would have been on the Dreamcast. Even tho it’s not made by Sega it really has a Sega feel to too. great game!!!!
Lollipop Chainsaw was fun and not to be taken seriously . Anyone can pick it up and beat it. It has that saints row kind of wackiness. Just have fun and dont over analysis it .
Forgot the sound track with its classic hits
Lollipop Chainsaw is like a distant dumber relative of Bayonetta when it comes to the campiness and ridiculous plot/characters and also the sexual female action lead.
I got the game not long after it's release, and enjoyed the heck out of it. I don't know why you disliked Zed's boss fight, he's the most enjoyable one to fight. Plus his battle theme slaps the hardest! But I'd say the toughest boss is actually Lewis Legend, cause' he's quick. I can't remember for sure but he might've had more than 3 phases to his fight. It wasn't just a mindless hack and slash, different combos were useful in different situations. Also you didn't bring up how Juliett's grapple varies based on the enemy type you use it on.
The guy that voices Zed is the same guy that did all the boss fight music
Im glad this was made. Games like this won't be made again and like Romero movies, they dont gotta be good just to be classics. Sorry you hated it. I havent played it though but it looks SUPER FUN!
Just found my sealed copy. Pretty cool. On a completely unrelated note, Shadow of the Damned should be coming out in the near future.
Wait it's coming out again ?
Cool ! I've been trying to find it for a while now. (After discovering Q Hayashida worked on some designs) And boy, is it hard to get.
I look at it as simply getting the game again now if they can bring back Rumble Roses sadly that's not gonna happen
Panty shots. that's the reason. The game itself was kinda shit
I tracked down a copy of this game on Ebay, like a lot of cult classic PS3-Era games, it ended up being a lil pricy, £30 which was close to new back when the game released. Paid about the same for Puppeteer and American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns when I found copies of those too (I think they were worth it, really solid games for their time, Puppeteer was hard to find at that price, lots of sellers wanted closer to £40-60).
It's a decent game, Louis Legend being the best fight makes sense thematically, since each boss has a musical theme. Which kinda corresponds with how tough the boss is, i.e, the musical impact their genre has had? Louis Legend being rock n roll lasts the longest, Punk's got a strong following, the 80's funk is the shortest fight etc. Well that's kinda how it felt for me when playing the game.
Lollipop Chainsaw is a fun, enjoyable game. I remember first playing it at a friend's house when I was home from Wisconsin.
I bought Lollipop Chainsaw [X360] and [CIB] from Facebook Marketplace about 3 years for $20 and got it signed by Tara Strong at Fan Expo Chicago 2023 😀🍭.
I just pre-ordered Lollipop Chainsaw RePop [Cheerleader Edition] for XSX, and it was pricey but worth it, and I'll definitely get Tara Strong to sign it as well the next time she comes to a Chicago Con ❤.
Never played this back in the day but it’s definitely my type of immature humor and gameplay. Love it and buying repop for sure.
I’d date all three sisters too
I mean come on
Every man wants to pull off sisters once in his lifetime
I love this Game so much, had it on 360,But along with this and the Hella Reamastered Version of Shadows of the Dammened,This is Gonna be the 1st.time EVER that I can have All 4 No More Heroes games along with Repop and SOTD Hella Remastered all on one Single Console!!!Too Bad it's Only Switch and not Playstation 😢
Cool video I enjoyed that!
Emulator is good
