It's the series (or at least the four first games) that I've always wanted to play but never got a chance. Not being re-released for some reason unlike future installments is just stupid. Oh well, at least I can always emulate and there's the possibility of experiencing it the through reviews. So, keep up the good work and I'm waiting for the next one.
Just found your channel and I find your videos very enjoyable. Perfect length, good editing and quality content (even though I dont agree with some of your takes). I didn't know this series of games. This one looks fun for an hour and then mindlessly repetitive, but the concept is interesting! I agree it would be cool to have a remake of this and see if they could maintain the early 2000s MMORPG lore and aesthetic but with better worlds/dungeons.
Hey man. Thanks for checking out the channel and I appreciate your feedback. I'm just a man on the internet at the end of the day. I was actually thinking about revamping this video to cover all 4 parts since in hindsight there is not much I could add. Either way I appreciate you stopping by!
Okay so, I apologize in advance for the story but you need to know how massive a coincidence it was that I stubled upon this video (and subscribed). So, I was kinda bored. I had downloaded Driver 3 for PS2 but didn't really feel like playing it at all, and I didn't really want to watch youtube either. So I went on Vimm's Lair and decided to browse the PS2 games section to look at the games and maybe find one to play. So I look and look and look, and I stumble upon a game called Chaos Legion. I'm like "Huh, I'm gonna look up this one on youtube" and so I do, and your video about the game (which was great btw) appears among the top results. So I open it up in a new tab and save it for later. Sometime passes and then I find over 8 games in a row with the name ".hack//". So I look at the covers and stuff and decide to look one up, watch one of the ads of the game, and share it with my friend cause I find it kinda intriguing. He tells me the name sorta rings a bell, and finds some animes with the same franchise title. And so I looked on my end and after that I spent 40 minutes diving into the immense rabbit hole that is this franchise, not even going that deep, simply trying to piece together what it is. And so after nearly an hour of going completely insane because this franchise holds over 70 pieces of media across a massive variety of mediums, I decided to watch your video of Chaos Legion (once again, great vid), and during I go "Eh fuck it let's download .hack//Infection to see what the deal is for myself". And what do I see at the end?? A card taking me to this video about .hack//Infection WHILE I'm downloading the exact game barely an hour after I even became aware of its existence. Not only that but you're making a series on the first 4 games? And the video is not even 2 weeks old? AND THE CHAOS LEGION VIDEO WAS PRETTY RECENT TOO? AND YOU'RE A GENUINELY GOOD CONTENT CREATOR WHO IS ASTOUNDINGLY UNDERRATED!!!??? Do you understand why I needed to tell you all this? In any case. The video was excellent and I can't wait for the next ones, be it on the following games in the franchise or on other games. Keep up the good work cause god damn you're good and I'm (almost?) certain you'll blow up in not too long, always happens with the small talented youtubers that I follow (another guy to which that happened is called Fastminer07, subscribed to him this year when he had barely 100 subs and now has over 35K, so, yeah I'm confident/hopeful) You got my full support!
The cover art for the first game is beyond fantastic and it's on my list of JRPGs to play at some point
Loved your video ! ^_^
It's a shame they never made a remake, i really like dot hack and i would love to see this series make a comeback.
Thanks for checking it out! More is on the way!
Just got all 4 games in collection. Was a bit costly but totally worth it! Grew up with these games and it's so good to play them again.
Dang. Did you manage to get quarantine for a good price?
I had to pay about 234 dollars not Including tax.

.hack is a great underrated series!
This game alone makes me miss the PlayStation 2 era way too much

detipacier, thanks for stopping by! Comments like these are invigorating. Hopefully you started Infection yourself after the video!
Where is the link for the mutation segment of this series?
There is not one. I plan to redo this in its entirety to cover all 4 games at once since this format is a bit too long for a lot of viewers.
Sword Art Online is literally.Hack/sign lite
