Glad to see you’re still pumping these videos out - you’re my favorite lawn guy on UA-cam. Keep it up Rhett - trying to keep up with you from Georgetown and looking forward to seeing how the yard looks by Halloween!
Appreciate the advice. I haven’t maintained my lawn this past year like usual and I can tell a big difference. Guess I’ll be buying some product later today. lol
I have rsised my HOC to 7/8" on my celebration bermuda. Really need a reset....but don't think i have the time to see it come back here in SW Arkansas. Thanks for the content as always
Yeah i checked out of my lawn this year. Just dropped grub control and pre-emergent down (a tad early i know), waiting on next year now. With lack of rain and water restrictions my yard was checking out 2 months ago.
Hey brother! I’ve been following for a while, fellow Aggie here! Any tips for seeding with rye grass this fall? I’ll reset the yard with Bermuda seed in early spring after killing off weeds with Tenacity
When you say reset do mean scalping it down? I usually cut my lawn at 1.5 inch with a rotary mower, but with my kid now in sports and life. I had to raise up the mower to 2 inches and mowing once a week. Wondering if I can get away with cutting down a lot because I know I’ll be seeing brown like the neighbor in the video😮.
@@lalojr76ify so for me I keep my HOC at 2” but scalped it down to roughly an inch, also with a rotary mower. I finished it with a verticut to open up the lawn and applied fertilizer.
