8:02 - First fight (explaining how to read enemy stats)
12:53 - Second fight (explaining enemy surprise, speed stat, size 2 units, resistances)
20:33 - First time in Hamlet (importance of money management)
22:23 - Preparing for first Ruins dungeon (where to place vestal and plague doctor, which dungeons are resistant to blight (Warrens and Weald), which dungeons are resistant to bleed (Ruins and Cove)
24:31 - Provisioning for a short Ruins dungeon (Vestal brings in a free Holy Water, Plague Doctor brings in a free Antivenom)
26:16 - Start of Ruins dungeon
26:35 - Brief explanation of what stress does (when stress reaches 100, chance of affliction vs. virtue. Chance of affliction is much higher, and being afflicted is bad)
27:50 - Brief explanation of curios (recommend going to curios page on darkest dungeon wiki)
28:41 - Brief explanation of torchlight
29:15 - First Ruins room fight (Crit reduces stress, review of resistances, explanation of some of vestal and PD"s skills, default party order, how to interact with curios and how the game keeps track of interactions items have with curios, scouting)
34:52 - How to clear obstacles (use shovel, if you click the hand you get health and stress damage)
36:09 - Corridor fight in Black as Pitch torchlight (monsters in the 3rd and 4th position tend to be stress dealers so I recommend you try to kill them first, explanation of disorienting blast and shuffling, stalling)

46:15 Third room battle and how to use holy water with Holy Fountain curio to heal and reduce stress
48:45 Sack curio and Kleptomaniac quirk
49:11 Walking backwards causes stress to your heroes
49:45 Explanation of hunger checks and how your heroes can become "full" after eating 4 food so you can't only rely on food for healing
51:05 Last room battle (Protection stat reduces amount of physical damage received so you should use DoT skills like blight or bleed. When you leave the dungeon, everyone gets back to full health but stress stays with them so stress management in dungeons is important)
54:53 Quest complete, going back to Hamlet (explanation of Abbey and Tavern, they are used for stress relief. Always make sure to check the stagecoach to get new heroes. I recommend upgrading Stagecoach Network once in the Stagecoach as your first upgrade. Explaining which buildings to prioritize upgrading - Stagecoach, Guild, Blacksmith) - Ігри
One thing Surix forgot to mention: Dressing like a badass fairy Gothmother is an absolute must when playing this game

I'm already familiar with a lot of Darkest Dungeon but I'm loving this guide anyways because listening to people passionately explain something they're very good at while dressed in a kick-ass outfit is a powerful Stress Heal
Just a note regarding the SPD speed stat. At the start of every fight, there is random number from 1 to 8 added to heroes and monsters SPD, so that's how turn order is determined. Otherwise great tutorial, thank you for that!
Lol well I guess the dice is higher for the monsters. Most of them go first before my characters even the speed types.

I'm planning to buy this game on the switch (I know it's old) and I wanted to get some grasp of the mechanics before I buy it. And among all the tutorials I've seen, yours is actually the best cuz you make it simple to understand and tackle the minute details that are kind of crucial to the understanding of the gameplay. I heard this game is hard so I wanted to at least have an idea instead of getting into this blindly. So thank you!

I played this game on normal for 4 hours 2 years ago & got frustrated to the point of stopping. I could tell it was well made, but it just threw too much at me all at once. great video. i got the game recently but i'd been watching Let's Plays and guides for a while and I haven't lost any heroes yet (i might soon as my only Vestal is now resolve lv 4 and she soon won't want to accompany weaklings on apprentice level dungeons and i can't seem to get a new vestal or hellion to appear on the stagecoach) also, that's a killer costume. I wish i'd seen your video before haha subscribed.

When you said "he resisted movement " how'd you know what you resisted? Just experience or does it tell you somewhere? At 17:28
with key you can open the tutorial chest, turned off the light and maybe you get 1 after the fight
The other thing this tutorial reminded me of is how much better this game is on PC than PS4.
You're doing a good job of explaining, if only you were on PS4, maybe I can find a digital instruction manual or something as I'm trying to learn the controls

Warning: luck is against you (unless you didn’t pick normal or harder).
Example: if you try to heal a party member...say over four turns..chance to heal 4-52 hp...you will probably heal 8hp.
Most critters attack More than your party will, unless you waste a turn increasing a members speed.
Just keep grabbing those meat sacrifice party members from the stage coach and keep a handful of party members safe (run away if need), and should be good....
To grind out gold for healing stress after dung delve.
Again, the AI is smart enough to know it rolls better than you too, so don’t be afraid to kill three party members a delve, just save that One save crop.
on PS4, every button works fine, but the touchpad for "Embark" doesnt work. Does some other Ps4 player has the same problem? How to fix it? Im stuck in Hamlet cause im pressing touchpad on my controller to Embark but nothing happens.
