Nice video, Mike. My first trillian was a "Tribble" and without a Sharpie all would have been a disaster... You explained it very well. Beautiful job. Thanks for the share. 👍🏼
Thank you!
Morning I love how your videos update just in time for my morning coffee
You are welcome! I'll try to keep that schedule for you.
@@BOPIESDiamondsFineJewelry cheers Mike it's becoming a ritual 😂🤟
Another amazing video. Thank you for creating videos this dying trade, and getting people interested in it.
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice. Very helpful. I just got into a bit of prospecting. I found I enjoy digging crystals. I wondered ... How does one make a rough stone into a beautiful piece? I've been educating myself through observing people such as yourself. Thank you for all the very informative input.
Hope you give gem cutting a try! Let us see your results once you cut a stone!
Have you ever handled a pallasite. The meteorite Olivine? This has needles shaped lines in it .
No, I haven't seen any before.
Thanks
You are welcome
I like that trillian shape.yes trillian not trilliant lol ..nice work.I never knew faceting removes a big part off of a rough 1.7 is more then one third of what you started with.nice gem anyhow 👌🏾
Yes, it is unfortunate that you lose a lot of weight in the cutting process.
what is the JB weld epoxy you use, thank you.
JB Weld is widely available here in Home Depot stores. If you can't find it, Devcon has an epoxy that is every bit as good. I just use JB Weld because it works and because it is available.
What was the value of that stone?
Sorry, but I don't discuss prices on this forum.
