@@lvo9197 is there no transition out of stalker all-in? i've watched his games vs. top tier zergs and it was even worse when they survived compared to terrans surviving him.
it seems like it's starting to become an apparent weakness.
he's trying out non-blink stalker builds in this video now too.

also, i wouldnt say zerg and terran are imba --- it's just that protoss have been so weak. their units are just so underwhelming and the only thing keeping them relevant is the gateway mechanics which maxpax has been using but everyone is getting so familiar with it.

its crazy in game one the amount of damage max pax has to do to even be on equal footing with a terran. if the terran did even remotely as much dmg to a protoss the game is immediately over. terran is such a stupid over powered race

Each time you smash the like button, a queen gets its wings.
Honestly the damn protoss units are so underpowered for what they cost it's not even funny. The phoenix is a joke, weaker than a viking while unable to land or hit ground units. The main splash damage units are both easily countered the colossus cannot be screened with ground units since air units can move over the screen and attack it and the disruptors are a joke all high skill pro players just dodge the salvo and then kill the shriveled scrotum. The zealots are decent as meat shields and the stalkers with blink can put in work if you're a micro god early game but after that protoss is left holding the biggest bag of excrement ever assembled in the history of strategy games. Protoss, supposedly the most advanced race in the game has less spells than the cockroach race. Storm and that's about it. The mama ship is a clown car and the tempest is ridiculously weak and slow. Never mind the void ray I forgot it even exists since no one uses them.
I honestly don't get why balance is so bad in this game. I guess it's because they prioritize their precious ladder where imbeciles die to disruptor shots all the time and don't build vikings against colossus.
Protoss is so easy, build one type of unit and keep blinking.

Winter, I watched the video because I love to support you but Clem games make me instantly want to click away. MaxPax did make many mistakes here, admittedly... But you can almost feel the frustration at certain points.You say Clem makes Terran look broken, but I believe of the 3 races, they are. I believe they most IMBA of the 3. Not even memeing. Of the 3 economy boosters (chrono, inject, mules) they have the best one. They have the most unit variety and All of their units (with the 1 exception being the SCV!!!) are ranged. They have the best detection, that builds off their basic production structure! And that same structure can fly and can also be turned into a very decent area denying planetary fortress! Also because of those flying structures, the only race that can force a tie, the only race with a ranged basic combat unit (marine vs zealot / zergling) and the marine shoots at flying units.... Not to mention they have the ghost, one of the most efficient units in the game, and the counter to pretty much all the best units of the other 2 races, which would counter things Terran could do if not for them (they also shoot up) Cyclone counter most mechanical units for protoss and are practically inescapable (also shoot up). Widow mines, even with their 'nerf' are still a massive annoyance, way better than the disruptor and... I suppose you could consider banelings, but you have to pay a lot for those. Each mine has infinite shots, just got a charge up time (tbf disruptor has a cooldown). Their units are just flat out better, more micro-able, easier to set up macros, easier to use for harass (medivac, mines, marines/marauders, liberator, raven, hellion sometimes.... REAPER) And reapers are just an annoying concept similar to hellions (unless against zerg) in that they really aren't part of anything other than worker harass and early scout. Also gotta love the fact that liberators pretty much ruined the mapmaking scene for the ladder, and it now must always be designed with them in mind.
On Clem's style, it was interesting to see him try out the turtle style and crazy how hard MaxPax had to try to be able to beat him there. Yes, you mentioned that was the one game he won, but it really wasn't even that definitive. I got a bit hyped with his crazy micro with the prism and the archon, got some crazy milage out of those and the stalkers.... but it all doesn't matter. Clem plays a very safe style, and is probably the best micro player in the game hands down. And I think that makes the games he's involved in very boring, stale. Very samey. I prefer Gumiho and Byun, with their fun mech and chaotic styles. May not always be successful, but at least it keeps the game, and the Terrans fun and interesting to watch. The more Clem I see at every event doing the same build and dominating everything, the less interested I am in SC2 overall. Though I will always come back to watch your bronze league heroes, your SC Evo Complete, maybe some Warcraft vs Starcraft and possibly if you ever cover some other formats (More multiplayer team games, maybe some ffa chaos? I saw a really cool KotH game covered recently. What about doing some stuff with some custom modded races?)
I'm in no way telling you what to do, I'm just frustrated with how things have been lately in SC and I would hate to not have to watch your videos because of that... On a piece of good (?) news, you heard about that new SC shooter game rumored to currently be in production?
TL;DR: Waiting for the next patch where they give the scv a ranged attack and siege tanks a machine gun that shoots at air units.

Lol, what a rage post. Clem wins a tournament due to his skill and Zerg (where Serral has won 99% of his tournaments in the last 4 years) whines like a baby. Classic zerg tears 😂
idk why someone told here ur zerg, as ur clearly toss balance whiner (even tough u playing easiest race, which dominates GM ladder since 2018 at least). Your wall of text full of bs is pointless, as clearly MaxPax did quite a large mistakes throughout this bo5 and Winter confirmed it. The one when he was better, he won (the first one). MaxPax is beating easily every other terran EXCEPT CLEM. I believe he had decent number of tournaments with Byun in this year and he lost only one. While Byun being absolute legend, second best micro terran in world and he still keep losing large supply to disruptors. When watching Clem playing terran on absolute god tier it's very easy to forget how abusive are colossi, disruptors and ability to spawn units anywhere on the map (lol). But this things keep low skilled toss players on top of the ladder for at least 6 years now.
On the other side it's very silly to compare MaxPax to Clem. Actually the only person, that can compete with him on similar level is Serral (with decent chance of defeating him by Dark or Reynor via some cheese). If u want to see how balance in sc2 works and where changes should be made watch some of this years Byun vs MaxPax - this players are much closer to each other when it comes to skill level.
@@blingman78 Serral won a lot of his games playing a very different type of zerg. And recently got swept by who again? That's right. And they played the same way as always. It's not even fully Clem, the race objectively has the highest skill ceiling by a large margin. Protoss and Zerg are very far from being able to come close with the tools at their disposal. Yes Serral was pretty good and is arguably the best Zerg with Dark and Reynor behind him. But Terran, especially Clem's Terran barely loses at all anymore. Most series I've watched him here in the opponent is lucky to win 1 against him, and it's either through sneaky cheeses, or some all in in which it ends up being super close. Other than cheese, I've not seen a game he's been in recently where the opponent comfortably outplayed him in a longer match.
And it's disingenuous to say it's based on one match. You clearly didn't read my post, which really means you shouldn't have an opinion on it. TBH, I don't really play ladder because of people just like you.
I just feel bad for Clem's Opponents. Credit where it's due though, his micro is pretty immaculate.
@adm-jw3yf So it's funny, I actually don't really play ladder. I was always more of a campaign and spectator (custom games and arcade as well) kind of guy. I have very much studied it and watched countless games, balance patch explanation videos, build orders throughout the years, tournaments, etc. Protoss was my least favorite race to play, but I still played em. Played all three somewhat evenly. Back in Brood Wars, used to love everything about Terran. The power armor look, the music, the funny space redneck theme, the units and their portraits and voicelines... You'll not find any bias here. I also like the swarmy zerg, the reptilian insectoid horror of it all. And even protoss have so many cool ideas, somewhat pseudo-Egyptian, obviously grey alien inspired, their music even reminds me of the Alien movie...
And another thing, I addressed that MaxPax made mistakes. Clem also made many mistakes through the first few. Got his dropships caught several times, which is unusual. It should also be credited to MaxPax his micro in most of the games besides the last couple. And I don't really want to give his blink stalkers too much credit in that first game. It ended up working the way he did it, but it could just as easily not. It didn't seem like he won by a large margin. He ended up just barely outplaying Clem. Maybe like you say, it comes down to MMR, skill levels.... but then How'd MaxPax even get to the top of that tournament? Well, I guess you do need a second opponent to come in first for the finals...
I do wonder why you addressed nothing of what I actually said in that 'wall full of bs text'. I'm guessing because you didn't actually read it, but you're welcome to actually address the points made to prove otherwise.
And you mentioned Serral having a chance at beating him when he's not done too well since getting swept by him. I haven't really seen Dark win against him in any big event, at least not more than a few games... (love Dark's style by the way, now THOSE are some fun games to watch, win or lose.) You mention Reynor, but you know how silly that one is with mentioning that it would have to be done with cheese. (which may be true, though Reynor is very brave for trying that. Love that he's trying to bring back Mutas, just as Scarlet seemed to bring back Hydra's... and I guess Dark bringing back Swarm Hosts... what is with Zerg players evolving their strategies lore accurately?)
The last thing that I'll say is that I don't care who is on top or what race they play, but these days SCII competitive just doesn't have that appeal that it did before, when people were figuring out crazy new ideas and builds and reaching new heights with their APM. Not that we're finally reaching the limits of what can be done, and with the lack of meaningful new content updates and balance passes (The patches are kind of a joke recently), we're finally seeing the full potential of each race, and at that scale...
...I don't think it's even close. It's definitely Terran in first. Now 2nd place is weird. The data would support Protoss being second, what with Zerg win rates against Protoss and Terran being pretty bad. But then, would it be fair to say the top tier Zerg players are better than the top tier Protoss?
Of that I couldn't tell you.

observer need to pay for the "surveillance mode" as an upgrade 200/200 in robotic bay , pd: buff zerg t3 against terran, or nerf ghost a little, for gods sake sensor tower to detect cloacked why is called "Sensor" what a useles and expensive advanced tower 😅, z AA early mid game is cxxx increase range of spore or reduce price, 11:54 this game is a example how powerfull dts and observers are in good sneaky pro hands 19 scvs death gg
