The first minute was a volcanic eruption of curiosity for me. From bilateral creating to peek-a-boo star to the frightening glimpse of the glowing earth's core, this was a superb video for the artistic spirit.
I think my favorite thing about art are the surprises. Also starting with a blank piece of paper and not a clue in my head what I'm going to do, and then at the end "voila!" the paper isn't blank anymore and "I did that!" Amazing! The more surprises, the better.
@@jackieschomburgart I have a sticky note in my happy place that says Perseverance - it is just paper and paint. I heard you say in one of your videos. The other note is Try it, you might like it. I would have never used that green!!😯❤

Love how you're always coming up with the 'new,' Jackie -- I'm ready for that in the coming year, to shake things up -- thanks, as always, for the inspiration! ❤As far as what gets me excited about the process, it's in deciding what collage elements to put together -- I usually have stacks of small collages that exist only as piles of elements because for me that's where the 'juice' is and making the actual collage is often just the 'work' of it -- I think what I need to do is bring out a larger batch of potential elements and do the whittling down and putting together on the spot instead of choosing the bits ahead of time and setting it aside so I can just keep choosing the next one. There's a personality trait in there . . .

This is sooooo pretty! I love using tissue paper and the texture it gives. I love collage and pasting the paper and seeing all the different things u can come up with!
The reason the green works is because the application process actually ‘harmonizes’ the green colour because some of the red colour shows through…in essence the same as mixing a bit of red paint into green paint to harmonize it for application on 19:49 the same painting.

@@jackieschomburgart Good question! It depends on the tissue paper. You can always test a small piece on a sheet of white paper. But I actually find it's hard to find tissue papers that bleed nowadays as I look for them at Easter to make Easter eggs with the kids. All you have to do is wet the egg and then apply a bunch of little scraps of different coloured tissue paper to the wet egg. Then set aside to let dry.
