WTF ? you don't remember Petyr Baelish ?!? He's the cause to ALL the things happening in westeros, so he's pretty much the most important person in the whole series ^^
He's the reason jon arryn died, which caused King Robert to travel north to Winterfell, where Bran was thrown out of the window, which caused Catelyn Stark to imprison Tyrion Lannister. And because of that, Jaime Lannister attacked Ned Stark, which lead to his beheading in the end, which caused the whole fucking rebellion that's going on right now.

shadowdancerRFW I agree in that it's a soap opera in a medieval setting. It's a soap opera that has politics, action, adventure and character development (for a lot of characters if not all). It's about differences in culture, in family values, in honor and faith. It's about growing up and learning different ways to stay alive and to stand up for oneself.
The only thing I don't agree w/ you is that it definitely does not have hardcore porn. There's nudity and sex scenes but they're no where near a lot of other series. I find that in comparison to True Blood, the amount is not that high and explicit. And I agree w/ the comments above that Spartacus was definitely intense.

To this day, this is probably the best honest trailer on this channel. Every three to four weeks, I come back and watch it again and again, just for fun. The others GOT honest trailers absolutely DO NOT compare to this one.

There's a reason why the Stark family is huge, so the story can kill them off one after the other, until only a reasonable few are left XD.
And it's the ones most people didn't like at first, like Sansa, or Bran who nobody really cares about. Most of the "characters whose names you actually remember" are dead. And that's great. It's this sort of things I love about aSoIaF
guime1998 Remembering the killed-offs is a great way to keep the story, else they are lost forever. As a wise man once said: every person dies twice, the first time when he takes his last breath, and the second time when people say his name for the last time.
We're having a great time watching House of the Dragon, but watching this made me realize just how much more vibrant, varied, and interesting the first 4 seasons of Game of Thrones were. So many characters each with their own ambitions and fears and playing off of each other...good times.

Adam Pandit can you explain it?
R+L=J was a theory for book readers about who Jon Snow's parents are. Basically it explains that Rhaegar Targaryan (son of the mad king) fell in love with Lyanna Stark (Ned's sister) and she gave birth to Jon Snow in the Tower of Joy, which was what Bran witnessed in flashbacks in season 6. This means that Jon Snow is actually the heir of the Mad King, which makes him the rightful ruler of the Iron Throne (and also means he is related to Dany). Before the show aired the most recent episode, this was all just a theory and R+L=J was a way to reference this theory. Now that the show has confirmed that Jon Snow is the son of Lyanna Stark, it basically confirms that the R+L=J theory is correct.

I've read all book's up to point and watched all episode's. But one thing that keeps bugging me is Rickon? When is he comming back to Westoros. last time we heard of him he was leaving/ parting ways with bran to go to the stark banner men. we learn from **spoiler** a davos chapter that he's not even in westoros...but when is he making a return, i wanna hear all that hes been up to. Kinda like arya, what is she doing, arya, arry, cat, blind girl, ect when is she going to be the bad ass she's training to be** end spoiler :)
