- The Sterrato is the last ever Huracán V10 derivative before Lamborghini’s best-selling baby supercar is put out to pasture next year. But before then, the folks back at the factory thought making a £250k, jacked-up, armoured, off-road psychopath designed for smashing around sideways in the dirt was a good idea. Is it? Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix went to the desert to find out.

That's what bugs me about all of these special editions of everything, they effectively do not EXIST. "Collectors" have completely ruined being a car enthusiast.

I think this car could have been sold in much higher volume. Its essentially a more practical and less delicate supercar, great for anyone who actually wants to drive their car.
One of those three is going to be TheStradman for sure 🤣

Well first off you forgot about the V12 instead of the crappy 4 cylinder motor and second that pure Lamborghini sound and performance just on mud tires so truthfully its ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE A SUBARU ! The only reason you can say that cause its in the dirt ! And hell DDE has been doing that crap with Lambos and Ferraris for years already nothing really cool about it anyways !

@@joaomelo1203 there’s actually a law here that they can’t dig a road that’s less than 2 years old. Lucky for them there’s no roads less than 2 years old!
Not just the UK. The roads here in the north east of the US get bad freezing winters and as a result our roads are often an absolute mess. I’m talkin 6 inch (over 15cm) deep potholes. If I had the money and wanted to daily a Lamborghini I’d pick this up without hesitation

Yes, just make sure it's Chris Harris doing a back to back test. That way we will get all the feedback we want and need.

Unfortunately it will also be the complete opposite in terms of how often you get to see one in public... 🤷♂

Just get a Subaru WRX. More realistic and heritage in rally is REAL compared to this. Pretty sure it’s cheaper too😂

@@SkarryTerry I see your logic, but this car isn't a logical decision. It's purely emotional. It's not: "I want to drive off road, oh this Lambo looks like a good option". This is more like: "holy sh*t they turned one of the most bad ass sounding supercars into doing something I didn't think it can do". Plus, it's a Lambo.
Im wondering how this car without stick handbrake (!) could be called desirable...
Can’t wait to watch this lambo compared side by side with porchè dakar (even better if they both can complete some challenge etc.)
Finally . Now we can use this as a daily drive car.
Test in Indian Different Bad roads, then only we can see the real potential of This Lamborghini

Like the Dakar, this car will be used on a specifically designed track where it wont get damaged,
There is a difference. Dakar has just that much more (optional) ground clearance, that it can go anywhere.
It’s a several hundred thousand dollar vehicle, the fact it can do this much is remarkable, like the Dakar, and realistically this is Audi Lamborghinis first go and it’s being compared to the Dakar, which has real rally history, nah man, this is cool, the only shame is that it’s at the end of the hurracans lifecycle.
VAG is killing it right now with both the 911 Dakar and this Huracan Steratto.

I wish there would be more cars like this for crappy real world roads with potholes. This will sell better than any other supercar.
There were such concepts that manufacturers were aiming to build. But unfortunately most didn't go beyond prototypes.
Would really like to see how this car behaves around a track or something. 4 of these cars at most will ever see dirt to this level.
