This is from The Muppet Movie, which is in every way an awesome movie, and this is the song Gonzo sings when they're around a campfire.
The line "There's not a word yet/for old friends who've just met"... is, frankly, beautiful.
This is a very straight rendition of the song: one take, vocal and guitar, and nothing else.
I adjusted the volume and added a smidge of reverb, but otherwise this is exactly the way I laid it down.
