1st. Mistake she did was, talking to the police. Say nothing only give them what they need on a traffic stop.
2nd. Mistake she took that field test, it's not made for people to pass it. Never take the field text, and if you are not intoxicated, take the blood test.
But other than that, she told the truth.
Dont even take the blood test! Just stay quiet as this Hebrew Brother stated! Dont sign the ticket! Scribble on it instead.
Don't drink and drive. Take the sobriety test but make sure their body cam record it. If you refuse the sobriety your automatically loose license for couple of years or some jail time.
