Great video. Do you have one that shows "hard to get to areas"? Like inside of doors, areas next to a panel that you can't get the gun angle onto? My 32 3-widow was dipped. (was actually DIPPED. LOL) So all surfaces were bare metal. I've searched the "tube" and I've found NO one tackling this issue. I got primer on everything I can get to, but there are places I can't get coverage. Inside the rockers, I used a long plastic tube with a 4-way nozzle on a rattle can (CAR-REP 2K). I ran it in, pushed the button and then drug it out, but it's messy and I can't be certain it's all covered. Fingers crossed, I guess. I enjoy your videos, keep them coming.

Just watched the vgg episode of you painting the truck. I have to say (not kissing butt), that every time I see content with you i know it will be entertaining and i will learn something. Like many people, my first exposure to you was through trucks! You and Ryan were inspiration to just try things. I'm no painter, engine guy, or fabber but watching you though gave me confidence and tips on how to approach things. I've followed some of your work over the years and i am very happy to have found your channel. Thank you.
Looks Great Kevin. As a chemist who used to formulate polyurethane and polyurea coatings, and has the lungs to show from it, and now sells millions of pounds of what you paint guys call 'hardener' (aka Aliphatic Isocyanate) Guys Please Please Please, read the warnings and listen to Kevin and wear a respirator with carbon filters when you roll and especially when you spray any Isocyanate containing paint or coating. And get some fresh air movement if you can during spraying. Or get out of there right after. Also think about your eyes. wear a full face if you can or some goggles. This stuff will react with your eyes as well. Long term, repeated exposure is the worst.
Dan, I'm a huge messenger of proper PPE!! Thanks for the affirmation on this, it's really really important! I've been able to have a 30+ year career because I'm proactive, and all of my formal training has fresh-air recommendations for prolonged exposure, and eye covering mandates as well. Love this product. I've done not only truck beds but bumpers boat decks and even thined it down and resurfaced a claw foot bathtub with it 5 years ago and still looks new
Another great aspect of Raptor is that if you get some deep scratches in the bed you don't have to rip down and redo the entire bed. You can literally just go over the areas that need it and aside from you nobody will ever notice. Raptor is really popular in the 4x4 scene for keeping bar work looking fresh for this reason.
@@thJune I wouldn't get it on anything you potentially have to remove or work on later. But on the floor pan of a completely torn down vehicle, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Although I'm not sure how it reacts to heat like from an exhaust. I'm sure someone somewhere has tried it and has reported it on a forum somewhere. Might be worth looking into.
Glad to see you're still at it. Found you again from VGG I agree the Raptor liner is amazing. I did one in my first new truck years ago put aside a weekend for it and was amazed how little time it took and how well it held up. I just got a new Ram and once the weather breaks I'm doing another one in it
I did a couple bumpers with it and they have held up great. I put the Upol epoxy primer down first. Once my project is finished I am going to do the entire body in Raptor liner. It's an off road truck that'll see lots of bushes and branches. It's original paint is covered in scratches now. One of the great things about Raptor is how easy it is to touch up. They even make 2K spray cans.
