My friend had a 74. That was read the shifter in that is cool if you pull it down to low one or a first gear in the automatic when you're ready to shift instead of tapping it forward. Bump it to the right, just go ahead and slap it to the right. You'll kick up in the second slap it till the right again and it'll Camaro. Did that and I'm pretty sure it was his 74. They could have been the seventy six but i'm pretty sure it was a seventy four and maybe all of them do it so check that out

What i love already about this gentlemen is he's using a basic lawn mower and foot power to manhandle the car inside, but these younger generation you tube "stars" that have these super expensive brand new state of the art equipment/shops to do the same task. No bragging about how much money he has, no showboating or bragging, one of the very few channels I've seen like its kind. And sorry to say, vice grip garage or whatever its called, my opinion he's a showoff and does not deserve the recognition he is getting at all. Keep up the great videos

This is such a cool project. I had a 76 back in high school. Put way too much money and time into it. Love the idea of converting this to a 70-73 style. Will be watching for sure. Kevin is a top notch educator

Graveyard Cars has demonstrated that any car can be restored. Its just a matter of cost. Glad you said "worth saving".

That’s obvious….. but if it was to cost 75,000 to restore this…. Yeah,,, no! Hey how bout $50,000 to restore a Vega…

Gonna be a great one to follow along with mate! 100% the right choice to make it a 70 not a 74, why make it ugly again lol. Obviously the vinyl roof was on there for a long time trapping the water on the surface of the skin and not leaking into the car at all with that serious lack of rust on all the frame work inside. It's gonna be great!!

LOVE Camaros!! Second gen my favorite. My only Camaro, '76 base model with a 305/auto upgrade and nothing else. Radio delete, the engine was the only music I needed! Lol. Oh yeah, orange with black interior made it look sportier than it actually was. All for $1,700 Canadian in the early '90s. Really enjoyed driving the car for almost 6 years as is(was)! ✌🇨🇦

Been there and done that on my 77 z28. i will be following along because it brings back memories, I did mine before the reproduction parts were so prevalent and right after GM discontinued the originals. I still enjoy mine and it's held up well.

You took the thought right out of my mind. I'd make a 70 split bumper Camero as well cause it's a good idea and a good start for building the car that you would rather have...

When you looked at the camera after struggling to push the car and said "shut up", I laughed out loud and had to hit the subscribe button. I've been there myself many times. I usually end up having to use either my lawn mower or my pick up to help move something around the yard.

Thank you Kevin for pushing that car with your legs! I was taught that way back in the early 90’s when I was driving a tow truck. It’s the most direct route from the ground to the car, doesn’t involve your joints for your hands to your feet, and is way better for your back😂👍🏻💪🏻

I remember when that car was new. I was 14 at the time. A neighbor bought a new gold color Type LT. I've had two second gen Camaros. a '79 Berlinetta and an '80 Z28. That was back in the mid-late '80s. They were in near new condition. AZ cars, zero rust. I remember being upset over a few scratches in the paint. I can only imagine what those cars would be worth today in that condition.
