I have the German Captured version of the KV-2 in the professional metal edition from Torro! I am absolutely delighted with this model. Heng Long's Russian KV-2 in the video is modeled after the KV-2 1940 from the Kubinka Panzer Museum (note the details on the turret next to the gun mantlet, these hooks). This KV-2 has a beautiful diesel sound and although I prefer the Torro version because of the solid metal underbody, this model is very nice and the camouflage looks very nice. I have to get this KV-2 in the 7.0 version too. I've loved the KV-2 since I was 13 and now I'm almost 20 years old in 9 days. Great vehicle and great video Comrade =). You have my subscription!
Nice to see that they have made the Russian version as per the tamiya and not the captured German version. I couldn't afford the Tamiya version so I settled for the Torro version and subsequently had ro modify it. Would definitely consider buying the Heng Long version after seeing your video
Not as big of a fan of plastics, but the paint job is nicely done and the sound is very good. Outside of the plastics, Its got everything else id want in a tank.
What I like is that you can adjust the speed on multiple tanks making them more scale. For example Making the shurman go slightly faster than the Tiger 1 or king tiger as was during ww2
@RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 That looks like a pretty good tank. I was thinking, maybe next time you can have a paper target range, to shoot with the pellets from the tank? That would be neat to see. maybe you can demonstrate the gun's range and accuracy. This video makes me want to take my own tank out of the storage unit I have it in. I bought the tank years ago, and never had a chance to open and play with the tank. It is still in brand new condition. I do not know though if the battery is any good? After sitting in storage for years. The tank I have also is supposed to shoot BBs.
I'd look at getting a new battery. Just in case the other one has perished inside. Batteries, unfortunately, do have a limited lifespan. Even rechargables. Although once you've done that it should be ok to run again. As the electrics themselves should be fine. Although I suspect that by the time you see this you might've already done it anyway. If not then hopefully this little bit of information will be useful to you.

Fortunately you can usually find spares on eBay. Or even extras for the tank to add on if you so wish. My only complaint about the new recoil system on the Heng Long tanks is that they seem kind of out of sink with how an actual gun would work. As cannons usually recoil just as they fire the shot,not before. That small issue aside they do look pretty good. Although I was surprised at how most of the electrics were at the back of the tank. In one place. As opposed to being spread right across the insides like it is on the earlier model's. Once again a great video. Thanks for posting.

Hi Steve, I’ve got the early Sherman tank,27mh and I still love it to bits, the sh1t I’ve put it through and nothing has broken, I’ve made it like the Fury tank and if I say so myself it looks amazing 🤩, I’ve always been a fan of the Sherman tank, I know it’s pretty weak compared to the other WW2 tanks, but well, i really can’t help meself, lol 😂. The rc Sherman's last better than other rc tanks. I believe it's due to making their parts better and tougher. Lots of Shermans and Tiger 1 E are sold every year. So those two tanks are the best to buy for beginners and expert rc tank users
My henglong m1a2 abrams with metal tracks and idle wheels was working well but once i got a stick stuck between the tracks and the rear idle wheel i didn't notice it so when i made it go forward the track came off by bending the metal part that holds the tracks to each other since then when i ajust my track tension the side were the track came off is always either to loose compared to the other side or when i try to tight it its to tight also the track keeps comming off because of the little metal pipes that dont stop coming off. I also saw that there was a lot of big scratches inside the panels to the side of the tank. Idk what to or what to fix.I noticed that the front idle wheel rubber was a lot more used on the side where the tracks keep coming off then the other side. So idk what to do or to buy because metal tracks are very expensive i tough of buying new front idle wheels but i am not sure that this will solve my problem . Il be very nice if you could help me. Thx

@@RCTanksTrucks247 There are three hatches on the turret that open. The rear "door", the commander's hatch, where the infrared battle is inserted and the left ventilation hatch, where the balls are poured.

To make it totally accurate they should have had a fixed turret, It did rotate on real thing but you wouldn't dare lol it was far to heavey for the suspension aswell didn't make far before wouldn't just crumble the suspension but cool as all Kvs are just not the best design here lol

Just throttle control for initial launch but top speed you can buy the aftermarket gearboxes

9:32 The only detail error is that this side armor or additional armor had no KV-2 and they simply took the hull from the KV-1 Ekranami!

The KV-2 packed a 152 mm main gun, this tank was not practical since it had a fridge as a turret, this later changed to this su-152 and isu-152

Needs rubber tracks, plastic tracks snap and the pins break
The box label clearly specifies metal tracks at 1:25, so unsure where the idea of them being plastic comes from?

Room enough in that turret to install a proper co2 gun , 1/16 is the all around scale when it comes to tanks
