3:#6 You're pretty much right on the money. The KV-2 was initially built to get that 152mm howitzer into urban areas where it could *delete* german machine gun nests and whatnot, something that was impossible with the field howitzer due to the lack of armor protection. It was only by chance that it was discovered to be brutally effective against other tanks as well.
Imagine getting shot by a 152mm shell 🤣 even I, tremble when a kv2 point its gun at me in tank battle games 🤣
@@JedociderShou It's my favorite tank to drive in War Thunder. Fire up some arcade tanks with a KV-2 and a couple of same/lower BR T-34s and just go deleting Panzer IIIs.
@@TestECull I did get to kv2 on WT but it's the early model and I suck at using it. Lol. In tank company and Blitz however I did great on kv2
@@JedociderShou Top gear top tip #1: Peek-a-boo tactics.
Top gear top tip #2: Don't play it RB or SB. It's not really a serious tank and that huge turret is a liability.
Top gear top tip #3: don't carry a full ammo rack. You won't need every shot, you're far less likely to get lollipopped, and you can resupply at a captured point if you run out.
Top gear top tip #4: NEVER PLAY SERIOUSLY IN KV-2! It's the kinda tank you grab when you just wanna laugh like a fucking moron while explosions go off all around you.
@@TestECull well yeah I got it for fun but I quit WT now. My laptop is sht and I don't enjoy playing it there. Maybe when I got a better device I'll try these tips.

I have the German Pz.Kpfw KV-2 754 (r) from Torro and I would never want anything else.....beautiful model! In addition to three Taigen Tiger I, two Taigen Panzer IV and a Taigen M4A3 75mm Sherman, I think it's about time that I bought a Heng Long tank soon! Great model ❤

Damn, that looks awesome. I wish I could buy one here. Anyway, are tank controls a thing on these things? Like... two levers, one for each track. I think controlling it like a regular RC car is a bit boring.

It’s basically just the KV1 with a different turret. That’s why the instruction manual is the same for both of them lol

Heng Long needs to fix their sound sync withe barrel/ track recoil. The tank/ barrel needs to recoil after the shot, not before. And put a freaking real battery in the kit.
Can you restock it for the EU shop?
The details are so good only problem is they got the exhaust wrong 😢
Ye I had to fix that almost as soon as I got my KV-1E 7.0 out of the box. That's a taillight, Heng Long, not the exhausts!
@@TestECull nice. You should post it here in UA-cam to help others that are planning on correcting that mistake by Heng Long.
@@JedociderShou All I did was get some copper fuel tubing from my RC plane habit, bend up a couple elbows, drill out the exhausts, and use some silicone fuel tubing to replumb things. I'm not the only one to make that mod and you can see details of it from other modellers on the MotionRC thread for the KV-2.
Smoke looks 250% better coming out where it should come out.
The hatches lead to specially made compartments for your marijauna storage, duh.
