If this is indeed a serious video then here are a few thoughts.
When we talk about immortality wearing sensors daily to preserve our consciousness would only preserve our old self which isn't what people want.
I think biological "immortality" (by that I mean be healthy and keep our health from declining) is easier to achieve than upload and is a good solution until we can scan the brain well enough for upload. AI is uniquely qualified to understand the overwhelming vast biological data such as DNA etc to guide health and even stop/reverse aging in a way that humans just can't.
