Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Find the Lost Chao - Radical Highway

- This chao might be a bit tricky to get. When you come to the point where there is a huge gap that you simply float across, you must get to the upper level of everything where you are on top of a platform connected to the rails. Grind back on one of the rails to reach a shrine. Use Mystic Melody (found on the Final Chase level) to make platforms appear. Go over those platforms to reach the chao.

and this is why chaos are lost they know how to make floating platforms in awkward to get places
Oh I finally made it! you didnt' mention anything about Crouching during the rails so you gain speed and can finally jump out of that freaking rail nightmare.

My game stopped working 2-3 years ago, but I had been playing it since 2004, I just woke up at 5am remembering how I almost 100% completed the game, but I could never find that damn Chao...
how did you manage to cross all the bridge? everytime I try it it Shadow just stops in the middle of the cable -.-

I played this game again after years and got stuck on this chao for like 30 minutes. I’m usually stubborn with this stuff but DAMN it felt like I searched every corner and box, even found some out of bounds spots to hang from. And still couldn’t find the chao LOL. Thanks for the vid

I told myself I would find this Chao myself. After caving in and deciding to look up this video, I'm glad I gave in after all, because there is NO WAY IN HELL I would have found this one on my own.
...When I was told to grind backwards on those rails I literally grinded backwards on the normal railing

It gives you extra rings which increases your chances of getting an A rank

By the way for anyone watching this this is not how you're meant to do this at all, you should get to the top of the bridge via the floating pillars where the golden beetle is and grind back to the other side

Yes, kinda. The one on pumpkin hill is possible without it and I think another one of knuckle's is possible without it.. but it still makes those ones easier.

Fun fact, you don't need the Mystic melody for this Chao, you can spindash to the platform no problem.

You can find it in the level 'Final Chase'.
@TheAnimationGurlz do have the mystic melody power up? u can find it in the beginning of final chase

there isnt a whistle well not that i know of just press B to perform mystic melody
why is shadow floating when he should have fallen to his death? maybe it has something to do with that mystic ruin.

I would advise that you just go unlock the Mystic Melody ability. It can be found on the Final Chase level.

Just type "sonic adventure 2 all dark upgrades" :)
if you mean the fire somersault, just make a light dash in the same spot as 0:42 and you should get it on that side
