Pretty easy level. Just be aware of the time and make sure you don't mess around too much or else you'll run out.

I love this game, but this mission was a nightmare. I had to pull off speed running strategies and still only JUST made it.

This mission is the definition of Hell, next to the Crazy Gadget 4th Mission and the other missions in Cannon’s Core.
Really? Dang, I really messed up choosing Radical Highway to be the first stage I get all A ranks in.
The 2nd and 3rd missions of Cannon's Core aren't that difficult. I took over 7 minutes to beat the 3rd and still got an A-rank the first time. The 4th mission starts you over ALL THE WAY at the beginning of the stage if you die.
Sky Rail sucked the most for me
I found Crazy Gadget and Cannons Core easier due to some skips you can do in those stages but Radical Highway mission 4 was by far my biggest nightmare when I was getting 180 emblems for the first time. It was only one of 2 missions I spent almost the entire day attempting before I got my A-Rank (The other being Final Chase mission 5)
Try A ranking Mission Street 4th mission on PC
Every other mission 4 level: Can be tough, but most players will have 30 seconds to a minute for any mistakes they make, no big deal.

I understand challenges and adding some difficulty to give you the award your looking for but not to the point where you need pure luck to beat the challenge or game

0:45 If you fall straight down instead of holding forward on the side of the wall, there will be a baloon with an extra life in it. If you go to the left side instead, there's another one with invincibility. Get that, as it will double all points you receive instead of bonuses until it runs out. When you reach the ground, homing attack the spring as it will allow you to skip the lower path with the Beetles, and you can hit the Vulcan Fighter for extra points.
1:35 Slow down as soon as you come out of the loop, then jump off to the side towards the bridge grind rail. There will be a spring that sends you past the top to the other end that will take you all the way to the end where the Golden Beetle is. I personally take the right path after beating it.
This isn't a mission where simply doing the most straightforward path will work, you have to be a little creative and risky.
Can you show this explanation in video? The second part is confusing. The only spring I see that send Shadow to the Golden Beetle is the one shown in this video. The spring towards the bridge grind rail I saw was before this Golden Beetle, but this spring doesn't send Shadow to it, but to the part where we can use the Mystic Melody.
@@PauloMoreira3007 Instead of jumping off of the trick ramp into the spring that sends you upward, jump to the side where the bridge suspension is and there will be a spring down there along with an extra life. Afterwards simply ignore the Mystical Melody area and keep grinding. You can skip the upper section with the drone and Blue Hawk(Vulcan Fighters are the stationary aircrafts that have machine gun fire) along with the hexagonal cylinder platforms and waiting for the Beetle to take down its electric shield.
Big thank you for the pointers - I never knew invincibility doubles the points you earn. Grinding off the bridge suspenders is a real motherfucker though lol

Neither can I, the difficulty spike baffles me
It’s all about using the spin dash, getting attack combos, and hitting as many trick jumps as possible in a short amount of time
This one took me awhile to beat. Radical Highway, Mission Street and Crazy Gadget could all use an extra 30 seconds.
There are a couple of useful shortcuts though.

I love the jump at 0:47. If u want to save even more time hit the springboard twice to get major air and land on the highway above.
You don't necessarily need to hit it twice, just homing attack it and hold the jump button to go higher
@@reddodeado301 This is easier woth the height you gain from the drop. I've found if I light dash to get to the spring faster or just do the normal route I don't get as much height either way.
I won this stage by 39 miles of second........ and I still rank it. I feel like god.

For everyone who still comes here due to their strugglin. Rest easy, it took me 80 attempts but then Mission 5 was easier than tbh Mission 1, like there were more obstacles, but it was overall way easier.
I loved the hell out of radical highway so I got A on my first attempt.
This gotta be the slowest mission 4 a rank I've ever seen. That's actually pretty impressive.
I got 2:99:99 as my time with just over 15, 000 points for that A rank... I started screwing up at the end and bumping into stuff on the easy go fast roads, lol. My heart was in my mouth at the end! I even backed up my save cause this mission was hell. ; D

when you pause at random spots 2 - 3 times, its over for you, you have to restart the mission

this mission is so hard, literally a ranked it WITH 28 MILISECONDS TO SPARE.

Thanks to some tips here I've finally got A rank on this HORRIBLE mission 😅 it was my favourite stage but now I need a break...
lol at the end of the day, you pausing to hit robots is just you flexing at how fast you are.
This one goves me so much trouble. I A-Ranked the entirety of Canon's Core before managing a B on this one. Still working on that A.
Btw, I dunno if this is Gamecube(score requirement is different for each port) but one near trick I used to abuse that doesn't seem possible on HD is pressing A the moment you land on the poles. Isteand of having to time the flip right, Sonic and Shadow can just immediately jump off it. It's very easy on GCN but I don't know if it's possible on other versions

I'm on good time and that robot takes for EVER to take his electric shield off!?
I hate that robot! Takes forever and I got rank B, just because the robot took like 10 secs to take off his freaking shield!
Or the robot isn't always the problem, is either if I fall, the freaking camera that changes angle everything it wants
It's so stressful this level!
It's better to run alongside the railing, or grind on the edges as soon as coming out of the loop. That will save at least 10-20 seconds.
At the downwards section with all the springs, homing attack the last one to skip the section with the beetles. You might even hit the Vulcan Fighter for extra points. If you ignore going down the structure and instead go to the sides, there will be ballons. The left one has an invincibility power-up, and the right one an extra life. I recommend the left since while you're invincible, all points you get are doubled, except for special bonuses.
I got super mad after 30 attempts, at the peak of my anger... Boom got my A and my first mission clear
ive tried for literally 3 months to get an a rank and i even tried following the video exactly, but the one thing i miss is the first beetle leading to the first rocket. For some reason, when I do it, Shadow wont be able to make the bounce from the beetle to the platform
I jump onto the top box and land, then from the top box I smash into the enemy, but I keep the button held down as it seems to extend the jump up and he just grabs the ledge to get up. I sware the Xbox 360 controls suck way more than the Gamecubes did. : /
This challenge is IMPOSSIBLE to me. I made almost everything shown in the video, but I can't get to the Goal Ring in time. The only thing I didn't do was fall straight down on the side of the wall at 0:45.
Because of this challenge, I deleted the game from my HDD.
I seriously don't understand. I have your time beaten by 15 seconds and i collected more rings but it always ALWAYS gives me B
The ranking is based on "Points" not completely on time. If you see he makes some homing dashes to enemies and get points, also the poles give him points. If you manage to get at least 7000 points at the end, the bonuses of the rings and time will give you another 7000 points so you reach the 14000 mark and THAT is what gives you the A rank

If you aim for a good score too then a ranking this mission becomes a lot easier but the time limit is still strict for a stage as linear as this one.
That's probably why it's so strict though
