It's a little concerning that nobody's getting review samples for the top-of-the-line version that looks to be the only one with any substantial changes. It's likely going to be the only one a majority of folks care about since it's (marketed as, at least) the best of the bunch, not *super* expensive (colossal missed opportunity not using that pun in the marketing materials) and it's the only one with a new-ish gimmick. It also makes me wonder what they're going to be doing with the next generation WRM since, if I remember correctly, the only significant design difference between the maglev Super and the WRM 2021 is the adjustable magnets. Hopefully it's not just "WRM 2021 but with factory corner/core magnets." Coulda just added an adjustable magnet version of the ball-core Super and got rid of the WRM line altogether, if that's the case.
We were worried about it as well, but we can't really change how MoYu distributes its samples. We'll eventually get it.
I have an rs3m and a Wrm and the piece design is very differ leading to two completely different feeling cubes the Wrm is a lot more flexible has better corner cutting and is a lot quieter where the rs3m is not there are definitely advantages of the Wrm to the Rs line
@@Editorwill_ Quite right. I don't personally have any of the cubes in the WRM line and hadn't seen the different shape on the edge pieces. The corner stems and feet appear to be, at least roughly, the same, but the edge pieces are definitely different.
The Wrm has a very different edges and a much different core
I definitely feel the same. I got a X-Man Tornado V3 standard before I realized it was the lowliest of 3 variations. Now I have to wait for best of the versions to show up, and will likely give away the one I've already got. Definitely puts a damper on my cube addiction.
I have the RS3M 2020 so this is really appealing to me. I like faster cubes and the maglev version looks really nice in that aspect. I love how the price range is very reasonable and relatively budget friendly

Ive just started, 1 week tomorrow, have gan m12 and the rs3 maglev 2022. Really like the MoYu with gan 3 lubrication

Ya I figured the regular and maglev wouldn’t be a ton different from the 2020 versions, so it’ll be interesting to see the ball core version 🤔 as a fan of the wrm 2019 and Gts3 it’ll be tricky to top those I think, but corner to core mags might be a nice addition for OH. Will have to wait and see

The middle slices were too fast for me as well but I had some weight 7 lying around so that fixed it for me
i don't think that the blocky feeling is a negative point of the standard version but yes I love the maglev version which doesn't make it uncontrollable but holds it firm and I like that I love moyu cause' cheap costs and the best quality THANKS MOYU

What difference did the cuber's home core magnet kit do to the RS3M 2020 or maglev 2021? Wasn't there a hype about that when it came out, so why wouldn't the "factory" Moyu 2022 kit now give the same advantages???

Just got the maglev one, it was too tight out of the box, but I loosened it up evenly, it's my first budget cube that's not under 4 dollars.

The price is definitely super (almost as super as the video).
You can tell that cubing tech has peaked when a $10 cube with a dual-adjustment system sounds underwhelming.

I can't wait to get mine (ball core, preordered a week ago). With my current main, GTS3M set to its fastest possible (screws as loose as they can be without the caps jumping out, lubed with Max Fleet Command, upgraded to maglev which I have set to no compression), and my practice cube (GAN12 Peacock Emerald) set to its fastest possible and lubed with Max Fleet (which feels still slower than my GTS3M, though avg solve time is practically the same on both), I hope the Super RS3M will at least sit somewhere inbetween these 2 when set to its fastest possible.

@@kama2106 After my experience with a very VERY *VERY* rigid Rubik's brand where I have to turn by grabbing the face with my whole hand and force it into the desired direction, I have configured all my cubes after that one to go as fast as they can.

As a Roux-style solver, I was suprised Jules didn't like the blockiness and stability of the new cubes . Hoping it's just personal preference; I'm looking forward to tweaking my MagLev when I finally get it. I'm still enjoying my 2021 model, and I'm hoping for a similar but updated feel.
It's probably because of the stronger magnets, as well as a premonition of Phil not liking the M-Slices.
Jules generally likes MoYu Cubes since he's maining the WRM 21. So that's the part that surprised me.
It's not that I don't like it. I'm just not super excited about it. I don't feel like substantial improvements were made that justified its release. It's still a nice cube but not over the top enough to completely replace the 2020 and 2021 right from the release. I just feel like they're using this as a platform to introduce a core magnetic version as well as a preview of the next WRM (or next flagship) in the series which is a bit disappointing considering the weight that the RS3M carries in the cubing community.

I just got mine, and now i better understand what you meant. It handles great, and feels improved from the previous model. But just not significantly stepped up enough to be considered a major update. I love using it, glad I got it, but am also mindful that I could get about the same feel by tuning my older MagLev cube. Maybe sometimes manufacturers do have to introduce in-between products for some reason.

Unfortunate they didn't have the 3rd option. Really not sure which version to get since I never had magnets in my cube before. Anybody have any feedback on the difference between these 3 and/or recommendations?
dont get the maglev (not worth the extra money as maglev makes practically no difference)
either get standard or ball core, depending on how much money you want to spend, i know people who say that even the standard version is comparable to the tornado v3 flagship (one of/if not the best cube rn)

This is exciting and all but does anyone know if I should expect a new weilong? Or should I just buy another 21? Mine broke, and was my main 😔 I'm really hoping they do weilong with dragon scale ball core and maglev, and still purple internals. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. 😪

@@someonelsy ik surprising right? Those things are very durable. I dropped it on a sidewalk a couple times and it hardly got scratched, what did break it was one night I was super tired and had thought i lost 80 dollars. I spazzed out and slammed my fists on the table, effectively punching the cube, and it smashed two of the corner pieces. It's usable-ish but the pieces pop apart now. It's so sad 😭

The moyu 2020 or the super moyu ball core version(I got it from Dailypuzzles) . Tornado v2 or v3. If you can afford gan, then maybe 356 m Or any other. (They're all good)

@@TF007 if you are getting 2022 rs3m. Don't get the standard. I have 2 cubes now the weilong 2021 maglev and the gan 13. Gan 13 locks up a lot. I'm currently enjoying the weilong right now but I miss the alignment of the gan but prefer the flexibility of the weilong. I'd suggest looking into the Rs3m v5 ballcore or maglev
