When i was 1 1/2 years old, my dad went to prison for raping my sisters, (who were 5,6 and 9 at the time) and I have been dealing with the side effects for years... Mom keeps telling me its not my fault, that i shouldn't have to worry about it... But knowing what he did when i learned it.. which was when i was probably 6 or 7, really messed up my perception of life, i kept thinking my mom'sside of the family hated me.... and i only know like 3 people from my dad's side.
I just can't stop hating a piece of me because im his daughter, and its only worse because his side of the family is full of mental illnesses... When i was a teen, i used to slap fake illnesses on me to feel like i wasn't a mistake, I will be 20 in October 2nd and this stuff still bothers me.
I've become really sensitive to those topic and i have panic attacks if im home alone...
I just wanted to put my little story out there.
Forgive me for taking up your time to read my little vent. I hope everything is well in your life, and if not.. Try and make it better, i promise it'll work eventually.

      Dear Fox-Tabulous,
I am so sorry this happened, and you don’t have to apologize for sharing your story. What your father did is not your fault. You were a baby at the time, and regardless of how old you were, you did nothing wrong. No one, including your family on your mom’s side, has any reason to hate you because, again, you did not hurt your sisters.
While you are your father’s daughter, his actions do not mean something is wrong with you or that you are a bad person. You are your own person and get to decide how you behave and how you treat people. Focus on being good to yourself and other people. It sounds like you could use some help working through all of this. Counselors and therapists can really be helpful because they will listen to you without judgment and help you work through your feelings. I appreciate the positive message you shared with our viewers at the end of your story. We hope that you will consider checking out this link to find a therapist near you, so you can also “try and make it better” because you deserve that too: www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/adolescents-teenagers-14-to-19

I'm so glad this video got put out! I'm a girl who's been sexually abused so I'm not in this exact video's demographic, but I've also known quite a few guys friends who've sadly been in the same boat I have. When we would talk about it and our experiences as a sort of a comfort/commiseration conversation between friends, one of the things they always said is that they didn't know it could happen to them like it did with girls. Spreading awareness for male sexual assault is just as important as spreading awareness for female assault. I really wish it was talked about more, as someone who's gone through it myself. Awareness is ALWAYS important, regardless of gender.

I’m 17 years old, and about a two years ago, I was sexually abused by my father’s friends. When he usually wasn’t looking, they would grope me or touch my butt, even, down there... One tried to rape me but luckily, my father got onto them. They are now in jail, since I my father have footage evidence and me being traumatized by this event. I’m okay now, and I have a boyfriend. My boyfriend (24) was sexually abused by his girlfriend when he was 19-20. When he told me, I was so angry because of the stigma that comes with men reporting abuse/assault. He started asking the typical questions like, "What if I started liking it? What if I didn't say no or stop?" It broke me inside, as a victim myself. The more we talked, the more he realized what happened, and the more he overcame. He plans to go to therapy soon.

Can you do one on women who are sexual abusers too? They are pretty much always portrayed as males and so I feel like when a female does it it's seen as less bad even though that's not true and because of stereotypes we get a lot of "A girl overpowered you? You're weak" or "You're so lucky" which is messed up and I feel like you guys would be the best to talk about it. Your videos are always really informative and easy to understand and they deal with these things in a really respectful manner. I think you could do a lot of good combating this harmful stereotype that only serves to protect abusers and even put down their victims.

Now I don’t know if this is classified as real sexual abuse, but I’ll say it anyway.
So I have this classmate, he’s kinda weird. He moans in people ears and says “Oh Daddy!” Every so often. I’m one of his favourite victims for that stuff. Anyway, one day we were outside on the field just chilling, and then he piggy-backed me. I thought it was normal, so I started to jog around, then I felt him moving. I looked behind me and saw him moving his hip area vigorously and making grunting noises. I noticed that his genitals were remarkably close to my bum, so I let go of him. He just laughed and walked away. I thought about it for the whole day. After that I couldn’t really concentrate in class.

Kids, there's nothing more cool than being hugged by someone you like, but if someone tries to touch you in a place or in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, that's no good! It's your body! No one has the right to touch you if you don't want them to! So what do you do? First, you say no, then you get outta there! Most important, you gotta tell someone you trust, like your parents, your teacher or a police officer

I think I'm too late to watch this tho. Because.. I mean like when I was in kindergarten.. Some 16 old boy (his mother was my kindergartens teacher) he tried to rape.. But I run away.. Tho.. But after it I was playing outside and some dude showed me his business...and lastly when I turned 8 I got raped.. I was so scared.. And felt lonely.. So I kept it as secret.. Now my parents doesn't know about it.. Im keeping it for 5 years now.. Still not telling anyone.. So please.. If there's someone who is in the same situation as me.. Its better to tell it to your parents. I know its hard to talk with them. But you should. It will help you to get away from it.

It’s awful that you were hurt and felt completely alone. You mention how hard it is to tell someone what happened, but in spite of this, you suggest that people get help from a parent, guardian or trusted adult. This is so important. Thanks for suggesting that to other viewers. You also say you’re “still not telling anyone,” but we hope you talk to someone you trust and get some help. You’re not alone, and you deserve help and support. You were able to share here and offer some good advice. Perhaps you could visit RAINN.org to chat with someone or call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1(800) 656-HOPE (4673). You deserve the same help you’re suggesting other people need.

Hi Amaze! I really need your advice. My aunt, as a joke, used to grab and smack my butt and make sexualizing comments about my developing body. She didn’t do this with the intent for sexual pleasure on her part or mine. I just want confirmation, is this molestation? It’s hard for me to find resources talking about this specifically because she didn’t do this with the intent of sexual pleasure. Can you send resources that would corroborate that this is molestation if it would be considered it?

No matter your gender identity, this would not be your fault. If you or someone you know was touched in a way that was not okay or if you were forced to touch someone else in a way that makes you uncomfortable, don’t keep it a secret. Even if the person who did this is an adult or an older kid who told you not to tell anyone, you should tell someone. Tell someone you trust-like a parent, family member, teacher, friend’s parent or neighbor. If the first person you tell doesn’t do anything, tell someone else you trust. Keep telling adults you trust until you get help.
