Will Graham IS in fact mentioned in the movie, at the start while Clarice is walking into Crawford's office at the beginning , two officers are suggesting they get Will Graham in the case. Listen back and you'll hear it.
I love the idea that Dr Lecter created Buffalo Bill for his long term escape plan. Knowing that he would be caught eventually. Jonathan Demme gets the chef's kiss for predictions about the AGP population and their inherently toxic ideologies.
Super interesting stuff, almost feels like it could have been worth a deeper dive. It is funny that you mentioned Twin Peaks, because I have some times felt that the series and TSOTL feel like sister projects. Part of it may be that the environments looks similar enough for me to just conflate them both, but there is something with the filmography as well I think.
Kinda weird that Harris decides that the second novel is the best time to say: "Oh and this guy also has a really rare condition giving him an extra middle finger" XD
Very good how about do Alex Cross as his tv show is out, along with Sleepy Hollow,War of the Worlds,Jaws, the Hound of Baskerville, Hercule Poirot movies to novel and also First Blood as I think you include the Hunted staring Tommy Lee Jones as it’s very similar to First Blood.
Here's something weird about the show. I really didn't enjoy it, but I watched the whole series for context. They go through the main plots from the novels, though they have changed the sequence of events (Red Dragon story happens after Hannibal story for example). They didn't get the rights to TSOTL, so that story is not in the series. But, and this is my point, the series does include the plot of Jack Crawford's wife being diagnosed and dying from cancer. So if they didn't have rights to TSOTL, how did they get away with including the Crawford's wife's cancer plot line?

Wow really? Dang, how in the world did I miss that all the times I’ve seen this!
Johnathan Demme does the direct stare at the camera view in several movies that he directs. This one and Philadelphia come to mind.

Thanks for watching! I almost didn’t include the Twin Peaks comment but I’m glad I did now. Now to see Hannibal Lecter fans also like that show.
4:30 I love that mic!
Thanks! It's an MXL V67

Are you ever going to talk about the Hannibal TV show?
Haven’t seen it yet but I’m sure I’ll have something to say when I do.

@@couchbumkino5423how about the Alex Cross showdown?
@@srstriker6420 Who?
@poppajbear I know it's no silence of the lambs but it's better than the other movies in my opinion
The guy who plays Jack Crawford in this movie looks a lot like Woodrow Wilson or a white Gustavo Fring.
Like a mix between them, I can see it.
