Don't remind him again and again about that incident.
He would find a way to bring it up, that and the Goldberg kick.
I saw a picture of a foot...
..Agreed. Bret Fart fans be like "He went through a lot, he has the right to be bitter" - EVERYONE GOES THROUGH SHIT IN LIFE - but you dont have to be an a-hole for the rest of your life because of it.
They need to stop talking about 97. Talk about Goldberg
Sad part is he's more known for those incidents than he is for his wrestling these days. Smh.
Talk about neither time to move on bret
😅😂

I still wonder if Scott Hall's comments about Bret being content with less money so long as he was champion was true.
I wouldn't be shocked if it was true.
Why would it be such a bad thing to have pride in your work and not just be in it for the money?
And he called Brett a mark for himself..talk about going to His house and Brett had pictures of himself everywhere 😂😂😂

Oh no, don’t tell me that Bret Hart is hating on Shawn Michaels again. I’ve always liked both of them.
Bret needs to find peace.
This is a very very old interview that this channel keep putting out in clips as if they are new
I think he has.
Only in death do people find peace
He will if this idiot would stop posting old videos of him
He will when he's 6 foot under
Love Bret Hart, but im getting fed up with his bitterness.
Also, whenever he attends a WWE event, he poses for pictures with both HHH and Shawn like they're best pals, and as soon as he leaves the building, he goes back to shitting on them.
Bret, find peace man for fucks sake.
Well I saw a comment earlier on that this was an old video, so I’m guessing he already did find peace due to you saying that he poses pictures with HBK and HHH. I think at one time he did reunite with HBK and they both had a nice little conversation.
They just announced he's going to be at RAW in Calgary interestingly
They just hugged in a video 😂🤣😂
I get what you mean but HBK admitted he was a part of the Screwjob, so it makes sense why Bret is still bitter about it. + Him & HBK always hated each other.
I get why this hurts bret alot. It wasnt just the screwjob, it was the butterfly effect. WCW didnt know how to book Bret and ruined his career. He lost his bro. The Goldberg kick ending his career. After all that the people that screwed them are thriving! It got worse for Bret after the screwjob.
Brett gets older and sounds more bitter.
God damn at this point he is starting to sound like an ass.
This is an old video
@@thomasboyle3494It’s a few years old but by this time he had claimed to be have made up with Shawn.
People need to stop talking about 1997 with Bret Hart…it’s played out. Let it rest.
It's bullshit and the fans should always keep WWE accountable. The company screwed one of the greatest wrestlers, ring technicians and a true company man with a family history in the business. Bret had another 10+ years EASY to remain one of the greatest and they cold murdered his career.
@@HULKHOGAN1 All it does is allow Bret to continue to relive that and keep him bitter. I think everything that can be squeezed out of Bret about that situation is pretty much depleted now. If you want to hold WWE accountable, then ask Vince McMahon over and over again.
Listen to what Stevie Richards says about Shawn Michaels. Shawn is the biggest backstabber a-hole of all time. If the nicest guy in businnes, Stevie Richards also says that about Shawn, it says something.
@@HULKHOGAN1 Bret has already made peace with the situation , he already had a revenge match at Wrestlemania against Vince, he already made up with Shawn.
It's people like yourself that keep bringing it up. Bret has moved on, I suggest you do too.

I thought Bret and Shawn buried the hatchet? 🤔
Obviously bret can’t lol
For the publicity yes.
HBK admitted on that Raw he was a part of the screw job but also said Bret deserved it
Bret talks about them with so much hate it’s hard to digest after a while. I talk very similarly about my ex wife, just full of hate for taking the kids away from me for so 2 yrs until I could get her back in court. Point is that this is eye opening, something’s you gotta let go of even if the pain still feels fresh in your own mind. I’m sure people are tired of me complaining about my situation also.
Jeez those days are gone now and Tripz and Shawn moved on like everybody, Bret never did….. Be needs closure and this doesn’t help, it’s not the 90s anymore 😞
Maybe it's time to let Bret Hart go do Bitter Old Man Things in peace and stop giving him all this attention just because he used to entertain people a quarter of a century ago.
Never been a bigger mark for Bret Hart than Bret Hart!
After 90's Shawn found the "GOD" and turned his life around.
Bret needs to find that "GOD"
These were his thoughts back then. Stop trying to cause trouble with inaccurate titles. He's made peace with Shawn!

he was already thinking about what he will say about Bill Goldberg.
I love how Bret always leaves out that he refused to let Shawn go over just because it was in his home town, he didn’t respect the business so the business didn’t respect him.
well said. the guy is relentless with Goldberg but fails to mention Owen nearly killed Steve Austin and was a catalyst to the end of his career
@@vidarye5859Edge, Kurt, and Benoit broke their necks too and wrestled far longer than Austin.
Austin just wouldn't change/evolve his character in 02. It got stale and his momentum was heading downward late 2000.
Bret agreed to do the job to Shawn until he reciprocated with a "I wouldn't do the same for you".
@Neethan3247 There is no "until" with an employee. You agreed and signed a contract to work for the wwf. Your boss is Vince. Vince says do X job, you do X job, regardless of what fellow co-workers say to you.
It wasn't just that.
He refused to lose against Shawn
He refused to lose in Canada (The French Speaking Montreal in Québec isn't his home town anyway, it's 3000km east from Calgary)
& he refused to drop the belt before Survivor Series as well, and wanted to just hand the belt back over on Raw the following night without being beaten in the ring.
Not saying that Vince was right to do what he did, but Bret left him with no alternatives.
Thought he made peace with Shawn. Bret needs to just find peace
Bret , Rhonda and Ryback should have a podcast together called the Bitter Hour
Lol
Bret has a reason to be bitter though towards HBK.
Wow let it go already it's been over 20 years since then, I guess they were right when people called him a huge cry baby
Relax, he get's called onto these talks show to get paid to talk about it.
People keep asking him about it, though. I'm sure he doesn't go around 'crying' about it every day - it's just that if an interviewer asks him, he's going to tell the truth about how he feels.
To everyone saying this interview is years old, it was still after he claimed to have ended the beef with Shawn. Not sure about Triple H, but he was supposedly cool with Shawn at this time. They had even done many appearances and interviews together by this time. Really messed up thing to say by Bret, and I’m a fan of him.
At this point I chalk up the madness to cte
I thought, Brett and I thought, Brett and Sean made up already! It’s time to get over this
Didnt he "bury the hatchet" with Shawn years ago? I used to love Bret growing up but cmon man. Hes truly become a bitter old wrestler
He "did" but it was more to build up the angle and he was also going into the hof that year, I'm not sure he and Shawn ever truly buried the hatchet behind closed doors
@mkchamp9645 wrong. He went into the Hall of Fame in 2006. He buried the hatchet with Shawn in 2010.
Bret relapsed on hating Shawn again😂
This is a really old interview. Bret has since put things to rest with Shawn and is good friends with him.
He did, this interview is ancient, they keep unloading old clips for views without saying how old it is
Bret was one of my favorites of all time, but man he really needs to let all that bitterness towards others go. It's been what - almost 30 years? He needs to forgive and move on for his own good.
The most bitter there was, the most bitter there is, and the most bitter there ever will be
Agreed. The only thing he is. But it's also nice too see how he ty to fool himself, like a bitter man talking "Im the best there is, in my mind I think that". Bret is one bitter delusional guy...And a negative cloud to this world.

Oh boy here we go, bitter Bret on another rant. Just get over it bro, it's literally been decades.
Triple h has always been sneaky
I bet you could hold an event where Goldberg, Triple H, and Shawn Micheals all put Bret Hart over in a gauntlet match that gives Bret the opportunity to fight Russo Bishoff and McMahon in a cage and Bret will STILL hold on to that grudge like it's his best friend because in reality he loves talking about it.
How can people clap when he wishes bad things happen to people?
They're from the UK
Triple H and Shawn Michaels are not the guys they used to be. It's time to forgive.
The only reason Bret hated Shawn is because Shawn was Bret mk10, in a street fight he'd be knocked out clean by Shawn within 30 seconds

I thought Bret "The Hitman" Hart & Shawn Michaels buried the hatchet on the 1/4/2010 episode of 'WWE RAW'...
He’s still carrying resentment and animosity some 25-28 years later.. smh. Get over it already bret. It’s pathetic

Pretty lame for a guy to "bury the hatchet" with his foes to their face, and then turn around and say he hopes "shitty things will happen to them". Give it a fucking rest. Idk how old this clip is but with how much bitterness Bret carries with him on a day to day basis, its surprising he can even function. He refused to lose in Canada, and planned on leaving the WWF a day later. They weren't just gonna let him beat Shawn, drop the belt on RAW, and then walk into another company that was beating them in the ratings already. If it was Triple H's idea to screw Bret and keep them from letting a soon-to-be ex-star take their belt and/or its credibility then oh well. Shittier things have happened to nicer people.
This is quite an old video. Just to let you know that Bret has buried the hatchet. Unfortunately this channel likes to old recycle videos and re-upload them and not state these are old. It's probably so they can try and trick people into thinking that this interview happened yesterday. To be honest in my opinion I think they are desperate for views, likes and clicks and will literally scrape the very bottom of the barrel just to generate some buzz.
@@Donald_Allan I completely agree with you! It's as if they're deliberately trying to damage Bret's reputation and push the 'bitter' narrative just so they can get more clicks. Really sad.
How do you know Bret carries bitterness around on a day to day basis? Are you with him every day? Do you know him personally? Or are you basing your opinion on clips from old interviews that are being uploaded over and over again as if they were new? There's a big difference between someone sounding 'bitter' when being specifically asked a question about one of the worst moments of their life and just being bitter in general. Also, you've misunderstood the Montreal screwjob. Bret didn't plan to leave a day later. He was still under contract until the end of the month, so there was plenty of time for him to drop the belt to somebody else. He suggested forfeiting it on Raw and Vince agreed, but he didn't have to agree - he could have insisted that Bret drop it in a match, which Bret has said he was happy to do, as long as it wasn't to Shawn in Montreal.
"I hope shitty things happen to them" he meant it at the time. Seems people can't even English.
@@Donald_Allan, really?
Bret was as loyal and professional to Vince and his company as the Undertaker was.... Yet you just know Vince wouldn't have ever treated Undertaker the same way in all truth
Such a crybaby! Dude, even I’ve let grudges go between me and certain people over way more. Time to stop letting it live rent free in your head.
Dude's grudge will kill him slowly
He's only been holding on to it for 27 years though.
Bret needs to stop holding a grudge and let go. Bret was an awesome wrestler, one of the best to work with, according to others. But come on, that was back in the late 90s. Complaining and being bitter all these years isn't gonna change a damn thing. Learn to deal with it, can't change the fact that it still happened. I do agree with other comments, though. Interviewers need to stop making that their primary question when interviewing Bret
One of the Great wrestlers but did not draw big money .
Yeah I agree great technical wrestler but very repetitive and predictable! I used to watch his matches on fast forward!
He was the most interesting when he was in WCW
Nobody was drawing in mid 90's WWE. Creative was down, the older stars that were supposed to guide the new stars left for WCW.. Just an all around bad time.
Yep, Bret did help the WWF hold steady when business was down but he never had Hogan/Austin/Rock drawing power.
I do wish people would stop bugging Brett about the Montreal. Screw job. Look if you’re at a Q&A with Brett Hart in this day and age, you’re probably not some casual wrestling fan. If you actually bought a ticket and physically drove there or even if you just clicked on this video, you know exactly what happened and you’ve heard everybody that was involved talk about it at least 10 times.
That being said, I kind of am losing a little bit of respect for Brad because if you bury the hatchet with someone and shake hands and everything is great between you guys publicly, and then nothing further happens and you just wake up one day and decide you’re gonna be mad about it , it’s not a good look. It’s even worse when you go on a tirade for a full year and then wake up one day and decide you’re at peace with them and then six months later change your mind. I really don’t think HBK , Triple H or Goldberg really even care if Brett hates them at this point because they know it’s going to change any day and then he’s going to be saying how great they are and they know that there’s no reason to even think that he’s going to be fine with everything because at that point they know it’s six months away before he decides he’s mad about it again. If you keep taking back, apologies and forgiveness no one’s going to trust you anymore.

There are people out there who are homeless and starving...that is proper suffering not being screwed in a fake storyline and then going on to make 3 million dollars!!
It isn't being 'screwed in a fake storyline' that Bret is complaining about. It's being disrespected, lied to, betrayed and humiliated by a company he had been loyal to for 14 years.
@@Bernicia295 He should use some of his millions to wipe his tears away in his Hawaii condo. There are bigger problems in the world to complain about

It's just sad now. This is his entire life. Taking nothing away from what was done, Brett is simply unable to let it go.
Bret & Shawn was the 90's. It should of ended better, but those two made 90's WWF.
I’m pretty sure this interview is old. I’ve read Shawn’s book and he legit talks about that they hashed things out and they talk
Bret is bitter, jealous and delusional because he never had the success that he believes he should've had and other guys he considers beneath him had more success. He blames all his problems on everyone else because hes a narcissist and his ego cant handle the fact he isnt as great as he thinks he is.
Sad all these years after 1997 it was mentioned 5 of them on the Hart Foundation run it’s now only
Bret Hart who is still around
Triple H had no power back then other than being HBKs buddy. He was a mid carder. He carried Shawn’s bags and made sure he didn’t die. That’s what HHH was back in 97. He wasn’t a fucking mastermind of the Screwjob. Give me a fucking break. Because he has power now Bret wants to put this at his feet. Fucking bitter Bret. None of this shit holds any water. Love him as a wrestler. Always will. But yeah get the fuck over it now. It’s been 27 fucking years.
First of all, this interview is an old one. Also, Triple H did have power in 1997. He may have been just a midcarder, but he and Shawn were both sitting in on creative meetings and making booking decisions affecting other wrestlers and yes, Triple H did play a part in the Screwjob. If interviewers keep asking Bret about this, he's going to keep giving his honest opinion. That doesn't mean he's constantly 'bitter' or hasn't moved on. It's actually the interviewers who need to move on and find different questions to ask.
Triple H did say to Vince "If he doesn't want to do business then you do it for him." A few people higher up had already made a similar suggestion, everyone knew Bret undermining the championship before heading to WCW wasn't an option.
Completely agree, mate. It is pathetic at this point! Worse still is that I no longer even think Bret was in the right, he was being paid millions and was asked to come to a mutual agreement but refused out of bitterness.
@@azapro911 and? he had no power, Vince knew what he had to do and did it

Kinda understand the resentment but hopefully people whose careers have been ended, especially all they’ve known, bread and butter/meal tickets, find other revenues that they enjoy doing and it’s actually rewarding to the soul. It's easy for people to say let it go but he is 100% dead on. They paid Mike Tyson the entire amount of Bret's contract so it wasn't that Vince didn't have the money. It was that those two were jealous he was the top guy. Which, yeah get over THAT... But then add in he had to go to the minor leagues of Wrestling in Atlanta, couldn't stop his brother's death. Wrestles an idiot that hurt everyone in his path. Gets concussed. Gets a stroke because of it. Yeah man .. I'll be bitter too. At worst case, without the stroke, he comes back in 2001 when Vince buys the WCW contracts out, but now that can't happen. Then you have Shawn come back and redeem Himself and you can't. People call Bret bitter, but he's actually just consistent. He has clearly defined morals and boundaries. His stories don't change with each telling. He objectively was the best based on his international appeal, salary and match quality. They legitimately were s*** people who politicked and backstabbed. Why do some people need him to start blowing these guys and pretending reality wasn't what it was?
Bret is only objectively better at one thing: whining. He was a relic that didn't approve of the direction wrestling was going, which is why he failed to adapt in the Attitude era and WCW didn't know what to do with him either.
@@DoctorEmmettBrownPhD WCW didn't know what to do with anyone long-term. I totally understand, McMahn is a "go along to get along" type of guy and he will go to no end to get even with you or your family. I see what he has done over the years and he is a persaon to avoid. If you atempt to buck his system, you're going to lose. He will find a way.
The best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be will always be The Undertaker. Bret is damn fool.
Bro just let it go at this point…if anything they saved u from signing that 20 year contract Vince wanted u to sign…be mad at Vince, he’s the one that chose Shawn n Triple H over u. Can’t hate the player u hate the game, everyone tryna be number one 🤷 I ain’t saying dx don’t deserve it but it’s like almost 30 years since the screwjob n wrestled for money at a just as poppin company
