Staying at Taigh Thormoid Dhuibh Bothy: The Isle of Raasay

Welcome to The Isle of Raasay. Here we go for a walk to Taigh Thomoid Dhuibh where we stay a the night. Oh yay how fun for us?
We stayed here on the 21st of September 2022. We manage to go on these kind of adventures (holidays) frequently as they are cheap and usually brief. I try to capture the beauty of these places with photography and video but sometimes feel I don't do it justice because usually these places in the middle of an empty wilderness with nobody around for miles generate awe and emotion which I think I fail to portray on youtube but I do try.
I make these videos largely so I can remember that feeling that is sooo easily forgotten when you are back in 'civilisation'. I try to hold onto that feeling for as long as possible because when you're doing mundane things like going to work everyday, paying taxes, comparing insurance companies, broadband companies and so on I have to remind myself that 'this aint life'.
