We were there last week (Feb 23), a great walk in the wet & wild, managed to build a roaring fire to warm and dry us all off accompanied by a hearty knock together meal and plenty of whisky ... heaven.
Hope you replaced all the wood you burned too!

How far do you have to walk from the nearest point you can park a car to the bothy itself? I would like to go with my partner and our little 10 month old baby and i am trying to figure out how to make it. Cheers!

Suardalan. Suderdalan? Sounds pretty old norwegian
Most of their names are Scottish Gaelic, which at a certain point of history was clearly influenced by the old norse language.

We did indeed, left a bunch of chopped logs for the next inhabitants!
OCD lady always leaves the bothy in a much better state then when OCD lady arrived.
