Review of Freshly's Veggie Baked Penne - NoRecipeRequired.com

I gotta say that I had low expectations for Freshly's penne dish when i ordered it.
And I gotta say, my low expectations where met.
While the dish actually tasted ok. The pasta itself was not good. It was soft and a bit mushy, which I don't know whether to ascribe to being over cooked or to being gluten free.
Admittedly, I'm a "al dente" snob, so it kind of killed the whole dish for me. For gluten free pasta, the texture may be the standards, and others used to it may not have any issues.
To make, it seemed like reheated pasta that just got too soft.
Other than the pasta, I found the vegetable were actually nicely cooked. The flavor the sauce was nice, and the cheese on top...cheesy.
I wouldn't order it again solely because of the pasta....but if you're interested in trying Freshly, use the discount below, and save a few bucks:
