    May I say that sauce looks awfully good......I usually gauge my spaghetti sauce with the one made in our local Italian grocers and restaurant that is the best I've ever eaten........Of course It's a well guarded secret formula like K. F. C. has......When I buy a quart, all I need is a couple of straws to enjoy that wonderful taste of ITALY......

    no. Do not add sugar. the sweetener is onion and carrots. Add 2 or 3 carrots. cook the sauce in the oven as low as it can go. I cook the carrots separate. the more I prepare the ingredients the more flavor it will have. people filter carrots out but every tomato sauce has carrots in it. or fat. you cook bacon, then cook the onion in the bacon.
