Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. Their appearance as a common plant was in the mid-Cretaceous period. There are 12,000 species now.[3] A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. That is because they are wind-pollinated rather than insect-pollinated, so they do not have to attract insects. Green is the best colour for photosynthesis. Grasslands such as savannah and prairie where grasses are dominant cover 40.5% of the land area of the Earth, except Greenland and Antarctica.[4] Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. They include the "grass" of the family Poaceae, which are called grass by ordinary people. This family is also called the Gramineae, and includes some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).[5] These three families are not very closely related, though all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a similar life-style. With about 780 genera and about 12,000 species,[3] the Poaceae is the fifth-largest plant family. Only the Asteraceae, Orchidaceae, Fabaceae and Rubiaceae have more species.[6] The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales. Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows.[7] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion). Evolution of grass Grasses include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves).[8] Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals.[9] Grass and people Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow. People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer. Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover rooves, and to weave baskets.

To be honest, the reason why i don't use Gen Z words and just speak like a normal human being is that there are some people in either Gen Z/Gen Alpha saying some really weird stuff. For example: "omg he got that skibidi ohio rizzz!! bluddington really munched the edging die-hard rizz and ate it out!!!!!!!1!1!!". It just makes me so confused (sometimes disgusted) that these types of slangs exist.
Gen Z dont actually use these over-the-top slangs, we use the sometimes but usually we avoid them, Gen Alpha is too young to use tiktok so they dont belong in the community, abd when Gen Z do use these OTT slangs, its meant as either rage-bait or satire
Womp womp is actually a revived term, supposed to be a n onamonapia (sploooosh! Bash! Scree!) Its vocalized sound of a trumpet tooting 2x in a depressed tone
extra useless informations i can share: 1. skibidi is apperantly some placeholder adjective in the slavic language so by saying "skibidi rizz" you are talking about an type of rizz that isnt really spesifed or some shit (to clarify i dont know slavic i just heard this somewhere and i have no choice but to believe that) 2. canon event is an term used in spiderverse: across the spiderverse to refer to the usual plotline of every spiderman, which usually go like this: said spider person gets bitten by an radioactive animal(usually spider but spidermen like spiderpork apperantly got bit by something that isnt an spider... which is an pig) then their uncle figure(or any other significant relative or person) dies. thats it. thats the usual canon event of every spiderpeople 3. for those who dont know. rizz is practically short for "charisma" 4. if im correct ratio that its original use in the internet is to mean the ratio of how better you are... which is scaled by how many likes you get. if its higher than the one you are ratio'ing you win. if it isnt get the fuck outta there 5. for those who dont know goat in goated is short for "greatest of all time" 6. the ahh in goofy ahh refers to "ass" (obviously enough)

I also use it
womp womp is the only one that gen Z use normally, everything else is inb a form of a satire video
I hate it
As a 12 year old with a lot more maturity than others, i can confirm 6th graders are telling me i have no “skibidi riz”
The fact that I haven't even heard most of these 💀

For those who don’t understand, “edging” is gen alpha slang for “beating your meat”
A guy in my 8th grade always said “omg guys I’m literally edging” when he was doing ANYTHING in the fuck- class the teacher did not give a sh-
The duck made yet another Masterpiece
I love how he used the guy from Lanky Box when he was ranking "Skibity Rizz"
Ok now I like using Ratio… but not for its intended purpose. The correct way- D, but if you say that shit in a conversation at random when it doesn’t make sense- Gold
Peak entertainment as usual Ducky
12:59 gyatt means 'dat ass' in a sense (i once saw a video that said lvl 10 gyatt and it was some weird roblox avatar shaking their ass)

Hey your video is awesome 👌
As a 2000s who's born In Africa I confirm that I'm grateful that I don't hear any of these word at all.

I know, but still.
As a 06 kid, it confuses me and I have to look up what the words or abbreviations mean.
Tik Tok really spread its hivemind on me in the past. It's Crazy how strong the Collective Consciousness derived From TikTok Works.
Womp womp is actually a revived term, supposed to be a n onamonapia (sploooosh! Bash! Scree!) Its vocalized sound of a trumpet tooting 2x in a depressed tone
Mid actually makes a ton of sense. Thats one of the few on here I use often. It beats "so-so" and saying mediocre or middling.
I was alive for the beginning of memes but these creepy ass phrases are still funny ash
0:18 is that supposed to be lankybox 💀
Yes
Well, he did create the word "skibidi rizz"
the fact that i say “hear me out” on a daily basis says something about me.
guys pls hear me out on leon kennedy 😭🙏
As a gen alpha skibid means evil which skibidi rizz means evil rizz in a term of illegal and outrageous
Skibidi means evil? Bro what
Yeah.
@@Thejackred1 how old are you?
Less then 8
Wait lol click on his channel
Edging has been a slang term in my town for years.
extra useless informations i can share:
1. skibidi is apperantly some placeholder adjective in the slavic language so by saying "skibidi rizz" you are talking about an type of rizz that isnt really spesifed or some shit (to clarify i dont know slavic i just heard this somewhere and i have no choice but to believe that)
2. canon event is an term used in spiderverse: across the spiderverse to refer to the usual plotline of every spiderman, which usually go like this: said spider person gets bitten by an radioactive animal(usually spider but spidermen like spiderpork apperantly got bit by something that isnt an spider... which is an pig) then their uncle figure(or any other significant relative or person) dies. thats it. thats the usual canon event of every spiderpeople
3. for those who dont know. rizz is practically short for "charisma"
4. if im correct ratio that its original use in the internet is to mean the ratio of how better you are... which is scaled by how many likes you get. if its higher than the one you are ratio'ing you win. if it isnt get the fuck outta there
5. for those who dont know goat in goated is short for "greatest of all time"
6. the ahh in goofy ahh refers to "ass" (obviously enough)
Munch is a old British slang from England meaning something tastes really good
Not so fun fact: The term "bubblegum pink" is referring to an under age girl's 🐱
Yep you're right not so fun
I knew that it was about- that but *underage* is crazy mannnn
