This does feel very much like an AD. I’m ok with that, as long as it’s disclosed. Even if Ken is just receiving a small discount it should be disclosed to viewers.
Appreciate your videos, Ken - I am travelling to Melia Cayo Coco in a few weeks and enjoy seeing things in a current context. Can you tell me what currency you tip in?
We have been using Canadian $5 bills and tipping on our first drink and then stay with that same waiter or bartender. But bringing a bunch of $1USD bills and tipping every drink is better in my opinion. I hope that helps
I haven’t smoked a cigar in a while now, but every time I visited Paradise Island in Nassau, I’d have to stop in the Atlantis Hotel and buy me some Cuban cigars 😎👍❤️ Absolutely Delicious! The Rum too 🥃
I have always hesitated going to such a large resort with no nearby towns to visit but your videos seem to show this resort has everything you need from shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The most expensive rum I purchased a few years ago at a Veradero resort was a 25 year old rum that cost $250 US . Took me several months to consume as I would drink it straight as it was so smooth and delicious. Keep up the great videos. Maybe some day we will meet in person.
Thanks a billion! You answered my question about cigars. Looks like there is a good selection. My brother is a pilot for Transat and always picks up a box of cigar from the airport when flying to Cuba. This time he asked me to pick one up however I heard the airport cigars are not the best since they are not kept in humidors. I will surely check out this place as well as the plaza that is at walking distance. I had no idea what kind to get then you mentioned Monte Christo so I guess that is what I’ll get unless someone suggests otherwise. I know nothing about alcohol. Can anyone tell me if I can buy Cuban rhum as a gift and bring it back to Canada? If I can , do I check it in my suitcase? Thanks again Ken, you have no idea how helpful your videos are ☺️☺️☺️☺️👍👌👌
Thanks Busybee, depending on how long you stay depends on how much rum you can bring back. I believe Carol and I can bring back 2 750ml bottles each. Hope that helps
Best place to buy the rum is at the airport if leaving from Varadero. Also best flip flops their made in Brazil but only sold in a few countries they have the Brazilian flag tag on them but are sold in Cuba really cheap. Nice video. Thanks and take care.
This just sucks. All the prices wereunfocused. Terrible
Ya, problem with a GoPro
Ken definitely getting a nice cut from Melia Cay Coco
I have made no money from Meliã, I hope that helps. 😎👍🏻

It was not an “ad” I was answering a question I received on one of my social media platforms.
