The four of us just came back from a 4 day trip to Ecuador, our first time in South America and with a layover in Bogota Colombia. We were nervous and watching similar videos relaxes us as well. Hi :) Were you able to access the Rimowa store in Lisbon airport when you arrived in Lisbon? (Not departure) I’m hoping to purchase a luggage that will need to be checked in and was hoping I could buy it at the airport store when I arrive. Thanks so much for this video!
Hi 👋, we looked through our footage and at the map. We didn’t see the Rimowa store when we arrived in Lisbon. But you can see that it is close to the “Fantastic World of Portuguese Sardines - Lisbon Airport Mundo Fantástico da Sardinha Portuguesa”, which you can see in our video, the bright red store. So we can’t be 100% sure if you can access the Rimowa store. Also to keep in mind are store timings. When we arrived, most stores were closed. Hope this helps and safe travels
Hi, Can you advise if Tap Air Portugal enforces the Personal Item weight for everyone boarding the plane? Have a flight with Tap coming up soon that leaves out of JFK and the personal item can only weigh up to 4.4 lbs...I find that to be such a challenging task. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
Hi, we took TAP airlines 3 times recently (JFK to LIS, FNC to LIS and LIS to JFK). In addition our parents took it from Rome to LIS and then to JFK. In all those (5) experiences, as long as the personal item was under the size limit, TAP didn’t check our personal item weight. We did however saw that another lady who was going with a personal + carryon, was being asked to weigh everything since her personal was larger than allowed. Hope this helps. @@KhizEesa Thanks so much for your detailed response...it's greatly appreciated. I'm just stressing over this weight limit...it's so little. But does TAP weigh everyone's carry-on though? My carry-on and personal item all fall in the size range...I'm just having trouble meeting the weight limits. Ugh..this is stressful.
