I see Tommy and Alfie as equals with different personalities who respect each other. Cillian and Tom both phenomenal actors. When writing Alfie as a character the writers had 2 things in mind. 1. Having another cool and badass person on screen. 2. What can we make Tom Hardy do, for Cillian Murphy to break character?
The chemistry between these two is spectacularly sublime. Cillian and Tom should definitely work together many more times and even then it won't be enough for me. It's always a sight to see them sharing the screen 😍
