This is nearly my favorite 'Alfie' moment. The way he throws away the 'Rumpelstiltskin' line is pure genius. As much as any actor has ever owned a character, Hardy is 'Alfie Solomons'.

Just as Tommy deduced early on, the Romanov's barely had any power left and were scraping by on favors and the aristocrat's equivalent to pocket change. And with Solomons having beef with practically everyone in his life, he couldn't help but use the opportunity to bully the little man.

Finally asks for what he really wants, the faberge egg when his power and presence is at its peak and they can't say no
Shows how desperate the Russians were in that moment. The guards would have shot Alfie in the head the moment he had the stare down and was told to fo to hell. You could see how entranced with rage Alfie was. Who knows what that character is capable of in moments like that after seeing that scene.
Alife in here is incredible, this moment cant be described, the voice of him the movement and his present in this moment is unbelievable ❤❤❤, I always watch and remember this moment I really enjoy in this video❤❤❤❤❤
