H2O HD Steam Mop - No Steam / Not Pumping RESOLVED

- Fill the tank up, switch on the mop. If the water is not being pumped and no steam is being produced. Observe where the black vent is at the top of the tank, you should see air bubbles entering the tank. Switch off the mop, remove the tank. Take the cleaning needle and put through the top of the vent where there is a small hole. Do this a few times to ensure the vent is clear. Fit the tank to the body again and try the unit it out. The issue will hopefully be resolved.
I have large house dogs and this steamer is the only thing that can purely clean my floors🌼 I forgot how white they were. After steaming, the pure color was brought back to life. I thought i was getting a good cleaning all this time. Now i can really get all germs out.. thank you

Thank you for posting this. I have had my steamer for 6 months, the filter balls are still white and it's not steaming. I'll try this in the morning. You sir are a star !
You're welcome..however please do not discount the filter just because it is white. My mother's filter looked fine but did enf up being that. I think a quick check is that if you shake the filter and the balls move then it is probably OK. If they don't, the filter probably requires replacement
Thanks for the comments. Another solution to add. A family member had exact same issue and the exact same symptoms, however their solution was in fact the filter. With this one I noticed that filter balls didn't seem to move at all when tilting filter. Compared to my one, or a spare new one, the balls would move around inside the case. Replaced the filter which sorted it out.

DUDE!! I watched this other video for a similar model and they took it all apart (there a whole 3 months story with me to do that) and after taking it apart I tried this and it worked. I can't thank you enough. Can I buy you a beer?

Thank you for the video. I had the h20 when it first came out the first one I used for 4yrs before it broke again the chugging noise but no steam then I bought another one done the same took it back 3x then I got my money back. Got it from argos this one got from amazon who give a support helpline which phoned to be told how to fill out the refund thing. I'd rather the mop

Friends one sounds like its pumping but nothing happening. Any ideas be great friends.
My filter was brown despite it never having been used 🤔could that be what’s causing it?
So all talk no actually video of what you did? Mine makes a clicking sound and doesn't steam. But I see many say they did whatever you are saying you did and it works. I will try to listen again.😜

What is the function of copper cone inside water tank?
I have been wondering the same thing it doesn’t say what it’s for in the instructions only thing it says is that it has to be kept submerged
Just to add: there will be a reason why the vent has suddenly become sticky. Mine was because I found out my wife had added some Zoflora to the tank. The vent did become stuck again a few hours later. I discovered that a long interdental cleaner (toothpick with bristles) was ideal to get into the vent to try and clean it. Now that I know this was the issue, I can be reassured that worse case scenario, I just need to buy a new tank.

Well my entire hose slipped off and is laying in bottom. Smh. You cant stick fingers in to push it back in anybody got custumer service number

I have a different problem if anyone can help me out. Inside water tank there is this cord and it got dismantle at the bottom part. I managed to take it out but not sure where the little spring thats there is going? any ideas? tried to google it or contact Thane but no luck

Have you put anything other than water into the tank? If it's only a week old then I'd be taking it back to the store
My problem is that the steam dose not come through to the head of the mop and I dont know how to fix it the mop is only about 5 months old

@@chrishorsman689 yes I have a new filter I have used the pin the hand held part of the mop works wonderfuly but no steam comes through the mop head

hi, mine steams out our the bit you showed, but when I connect it back on the mop it does not come out if the mop head! any suggestions x

@@emmalouisefarrow1410 neither had my mother with her's but that's what it turned out to be. I would try it just incase. You can get them on Amazon. Have you by any chance used anything in the tank like Zoflora? This will 100% stop the filter working
Nothing but water xx it's coming out like yours in the sink but it will not pass through the mop head x

Have you tried just changing the filter?
If you take out the filter and the beads don't move, I'd definitely say you need a new filter. Honestly it's worth trying anyway, they aren't expensive
@@chrishorsman689 thanks Chris. Yet I have bouth a new filter. And poked about with the needle thing. Machine lights up but no steam and no pump. seems like it's a gonner. Had it about 15 months

I tried cleaning and it did not have much build up .... now it just makes noise but does not steam still ... there is more problem than described here
I can only describe what had worked for me..there is another comment here for my Mother's one, hers had the same symptoms but was the filter that required replacing. Have you tried that?
Where is the filter on this ? Think that may be my issue. Really frustrated I only used it once for 5 mins 😡 got it off Thane USA website now they won’t respond
