Should the glider snap into place? Mine is lose
No it does not "snap" into place. If you lift the vacuum stick it will displace from the slider - this is apparently by design.

2] mixed reviews on tap water vs distilled? hsn says you no longer need distilled. But what are benefits

1. No, it has never set off my smoke detector. It's steam and is targeted to the surface you're cleaning .. it's NOT smoke that lingers in the room.
2. I use tap water and it works perfectly fine.
3. No gloves but it's your choice.
4. My carpet is low pile. I think it works best on low pile carpet and rugs.
5. Wipe the exterior of machine with a damp cloth. You can throw the pads into the washing machine and lay flat or hang to dry. Information on cost and where to buy is included in the video description box.
6. I would not know that. "BEST" is subjective as everyone has different needs and preferences.

9. You should be able to. Test it on a small area first.
10. It depends on what you mean by bad paint job .. .if it's paint that you want to remove, this steam mop will not address that.
11. Steam will not "fix" physical "scratches" on any surface. It helps with removing stains, marks, fingerprints, and dirt from your windows, glass, countertops, sinks, bathtubs, and floors.

Is this on gentle cycle? .. since were not talking sleep or fitting. isnt best the thing that works most perfect? what did i type of regular? they are like dots on paint. what would remove that? people are slobs in racing to get stuff done, they don't do it correctly. how do you tell if something is a mark ?
