Morphagene, Mojave, Desmodus Versio- ‘Wind It Up…’- RtB

As in ‘wind it up and let it go’- but I almost called it “Where Did You Get That Hat?” Fans of vaudeville (and there must be thousands in the modular community) will recognise the rising major arpeggio that features throughout as the melody of first line of the chorus of that number (“Where did you get that hat/ Where did you get that tile…” etc). Copyright be damned- the original was penned in 1888- but I’m not a great stealer of titles, more of a wordplay person.
This is what it is- whale-song sort of thing from the prodigal MG, Mojave doing what it does, a bit of reverb… As I note in the captions, the 104hp tape and microsound skiff is almost complete, at which time it will probably relocate to its own area of desk. I’m still searching for a camera mount solution, but I may already have the answer to the lighting issue lying around in a drawer, so watch this space. Still not over Covid yet either, and it’s still January. Sigh…
Like and subscribe, good people, spread the word and wrap up warm. I have more gear than ideas currently, but as my health improves so should the ratio. Here’s hoping.
