I'm sure there was a lot of effort that went into making this video. Thank you for the helpful information. Just a quick reminder sir, I'm not sure if you intended it or not, but pls notice at around 6:16 when you turned up the bass... the zoom's left channel began distorting/clipping. For an audio demo this was a tad distracting. .... Looking forward to other audio gears you might review soon. Thanks
@@ignoramusOO Thank you, that was honestly not intentional and I apologize for that, I also didn't anticipate the air coming from the speakers that's why I also put a quick note on the upper right corner around that timeframe.
You're blasting the mics with the ports Man, cool. It's been a long time I see this model on the market, and you just tempted me to pull the trigger on this Edifier. Thanks for the demo.
I actually like listening to songs at neutral EQ settings I was once a fan of extra bass earphones and music and EQ tuned to have better bass, but now I had my KZ ZSN Pro IEMs for a year now and quite honestly, it helped me transition from a bass-booster to a neutral listener, and now my hearing tends to automatically boost the bass for me, and I find songs to be a lot more natural sounding. Having Bass Boost is fine for me but now as I start getting into more serious work like film making with critical sound design and sometimes music production, I have now found the importance of having a set of Earphones to be as neutral and accurate as possible and having equalizers to do no adjusting whatsoever, and it may have saved my ears as I was listening to Bass for far too much, now I enjoy actually listening to music with neutral EQ, it just also lets me show how good of a Master Mix the Producers of different music have actually made But of course, all people are different, they may enjoy pounding the bass to the max as to get that sweet "bass drop" feeling, just remember to not get it too much, you may damage your ear and deny it from being able to hear sound the way they "naturally" are again. And I love that budget speaker setups are getting greater and greater each year, that way, the producers of music with "actual music engineering" like Deadmau5. will get to have its listeners hear more of the details hidden in their tracks Good Review sir! Gonna wait for the more in-depth, if there will be, hehe, stay safe during the lockdown!
Same experience. Most of my songs are bass boosted or tweaking the eq to max out the bass. Overtime I realize you can appreciate music more with it's natural eq
I have the non-BT version of this several years ago. Best bang for the buck speakers siya at about 2k a piece, sa Softbox ko din nakuha. Not sure if that still applies considering that it costs twice as much just because they added the bluetooth function.
Personally, i find the bluetotooth function really useful lalo na when I am doing benchmarks, pwede parin ako mag patugtog ng music without using my PC. ganun din pag naka off yung PC at gusto ko lang makinig sa music. hehe but yes, kung available pa yung non-bluetooth version magandang option din yun para makatipid para sa iba :)
will the BT have persistent connection even if you are not playing any music, for lets say, 1 hr? Most BT speakers will auto disconnect, or even auto "sleep"...
These look like would sound good for my outdoor projector setup. You think they have enough output for listening on a deck? They sound like they don't like to be driven hard
It's Edifier, PUSH them to the maximum. The noise was actually WIND noise from the bass port pushing so much air haha. oh, its been a year since your comment. Did u get them? How did they sound on your deck?
Is the Bluetooth pairing chime on R1280DB loud and irritating ? Or is it normal ? In some Bluetooth speakers it's loud and I don't like it. Please let me know.
parang muffled sounding nung nilakasan kasi natatamaan ng buga ng hangin ang mic mo hehe! Pero nagiging muffled talaga cya pag tinodo yung bass. But sobrang good deal na cya for that price with a good sounding pair of speakers.
If I wire the wireless speakers to a turntable. can i still use the wireless function on my laptop, not at the same time obviously. i've checked all over youtube and internet and can't find an answer.
Are these good for watching movies? Im coming from some active rosewill speakers and they were amazing but i need something new for watching tv/movies and listening to music
I have a question that i would really hope someone would answer. Does the optical cable ALWAYS come at this plastic cover? Cause i bought some edifier speakers and it wasn't in it. Could it be the retailer sold me supposedly new speakers when in reality they were used? Would really appreciate an answer!
Sounds good based on the vid but are these speakers capable of having a "dumadagundong" sound for movies/games? I currently have a 2.1 setup. Speakers are not that good but the subwoofer is something I'm not willing to exchange to a lacking one if that is the case with bookshelf speakers.
You can go to a shop and buy any length speaker wire. IF you wanted, you probable could put the left speaker in your neighbor's house if you get a cable long enough =D
These speakers no were near average Japanese hifi systems of the 80s ..... JVC'c Panasonics, Sony's, Technics and Pioneers all sounds crisp and tight thumpy bass ..... unlike hollow bass i hear from these budget active Monitors, these are build for a price, audio is dull hollow ...
I know this is a year later so maybe no longer relevant, but they are plug and play, and to use Bluetooth just pair and use. You can set them up with a receiver as well, but it's not needed, especially if you're just hooking them up to a PC. If you're using a home theater setup you might already have a receiver, or wasn't to install one, and these will work with that, but yeah again, not needed.
@KishkaGaming im curious about both. I think he means when the computer he connects it to is turned off, and the speakers are say... mid volume, MANY speakers will hiss.
Question po pag bagong on po ba yung speakers naka default sya sa wired? Meaning pagka on mo po nung speaker dun dun po agad sya? or need mo pa iselect na wired bluetooth etc every time nai oon mo sya?
