I love seeing both the big dolls and the monster high dolls. I'm here for the unique designs and silly content you both make together, and your videos are some of the ones I look forward to most being posted out of my subscriptions! I'd say Legend of Zelda or Animal Crossing are my favorite games/series.

I had an idea for the lining issue at 12:13. I have absolutely no experience in smart dolls so I’m not sure whether or not it would work but what if you just made doll stocking for them in a similar colour to their skin and put that on underneath? I’ve seen other doll customisers use real stocking as fabric for doll ones before. I haven’t finished watching yet but I know she’s gonna turn out amazing 😊
I think because of the special effect (marbling) on the skin of the doll, although making a stocking is definitely the easiest solution that many doll artists have used before, it'd kind of defeat the purpose of having the marbling on the skin if you're just going to cover it up with stockings. Maybe if you used a super sheer, super thin stocking it would work, but the marbling is fairly subtle in the first place.
I do wonder if there's any way you could apply a marbled effect to a stocking material. Nail polish probably wouldn't work, I feel like hand painting a marbled effect would probably be the most time consuming but also the best solution. Still, it would definitely make people ask, "what's the point of having a marbled doll if you're just going to make marbled stocking that you could use on a regular doll?" And at that point it may be time consuming enough that just lining the pants would be faster.

I did think about that but personally I think the marble isn’t even that visible with the pants on anyway, plus there’s still the stomach to see the effect. so if you use a sheer fabric (like pantyhose, which is what I meant to say) it probably wouldn’t make a difference, but that’s just me. But thank for your input 😊
I think washing the fabric before using it also kinda helps

I subbed during the monster high days, and I find it to be a little treat when you do one every so often. But I think you guys have a style that matches these bigger dolls so much better. You’re able to so so much more without the size limitation of the monster high dolls. I love your work!

It feels so silly that people would judge you for using printed eyes, I don't think it's a problem! Sometimes it's easier/more fun to get a lot of detail if you make the eyes in a digital program then print them out.

This Pyro is beyond perfect. They’ve always been my favourite in TF2 and so it’s super fun to see my favourite artists recreate with their own vision! Also the water marbling was brilliant. I have several burn scars (baking accident as a clumsy teen) and you really captured the colour variations incredibly well

I’m one of those people who likes the smaller dolls better, but that’s no reason to change your direction. You are both always growing and changing as artists. And I may have come to your channel for the doll customizing, but I stayed because of your relationship with each other and your creative process. I enjoy your videos, whatever it is you happen to be making. ♥️

For me, it is more about the interaction between you two, the ideas you come up with together, the jokes you make, and the final outcome. I love all of those! For the dolls themselves: each has their own strong point: I love the more realistic faces of the MH dolls (but Alex is circumventing that issue for me with her recent SD face modifications, which I LOVE!), and with the SD dolls, what I love is the greater possibility for creating fantastic fashions and accessories that would not work with the smaller MHs... so either way, I am very happy to watch anything you two make!! I've been following u a bit before the alisoh collab, and I love the smart doll videos, I feel like this bigger canvas allows you to make such interesting and detailed dolls, at first it was weird, but by the second video I was all in, it's sad to know that you feel like your viewers don't like the smart doll videos as much, I personally love them and will watch whatever you gals do

I actually really love the big dolls dont get me rong I also love the mh dolls but the big ones are really satisfying and cool to see the way the clothes work are just so cool and detailed
For lining for the pants, or at least some staining protection. A pair of short, like, booty shorts, underpants, made of something light and stretchy might help, especially around the waist. As staining seems to occur mostly around tight areas; feet with dark colored socks inside shoes, waistbands, and such. In my experience.

I don't really like Smart Dolls nor Monster High in the sense that I would never collect them (even though I do collect some action figures/model kits), but I love all of your customs regardless of dolls' types being used for your customs!

I also love clap trap.❤❤❤❤❤ My character is Moze, and the skin I chose was called "sure why not" It's galaxy themed with a cats and nebulas and astronauts. Iron bear gets the design too.

about a month ago, my friend group started playing TF2 together and we've been having so much fun with it, and its been great as a long time fan to come back to it. so i cant stress how ecstatic i was when saw this video on my feed!! i love how it came out and i love the burn mark effect, you guys always make your dolls so inclusive and i love the bigger scale creative clothing the smart dolls allow for! so it was certainly the perfect time for me to see a TF2 doll from you two

Question related to potential staining on dolls, do you wash your fabric before you use it? Often there's some extra dye still in the fabric when you buy it so most people will wash their fabric, both to remove excess dye and allow for shrinkage, before cutting into it. If you don't already, I would highly recommend washing your fabric before you use it, unless it's a problem specifically with the smartdolls and not any other dolls, at that point I have no idea
