I have to say that you're a very lucky women Mary to have Peter. I have developed medical issues that now cause it where I can not work anymore but I still have my mind. I went back together with my husband 7 yrs ago. I was told just b4 my a surgery 2 weeks ago that he doesn't want to be with me because he can't deal with the health issues and some other things. I am very happy with how well Peter cares for you.

I stumbled across your channel by complete accident a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. My aunt Dawn was a CF patient and she passed 9 years ago this May. She was one of my best friends and godmother and I miss her so much. I'm so happy I found you guys! I think the awareness you are bringing with this channel is just amazing. Peter you really are a beautiful example of how the Bible instructs husbands to love their wives like Christ loves us and you are a great example to men everywhere in being a loving husband. I just wanted to encourage you as I know men like to fix things and with chronic illness it's not easy to not be able to fix it. But you do a great job of being there for Mary and I love how you both have the attitude of enjoying each day to the fullest no matter what it holds. Have you ever struggled with that. My husband sometimes gets overwhelmed and more focused on getting thru a rough part than just enjoying that day whatever it holds. Would you have any advice on that. I think it would be awesome if you could speak on that issue as a caregiver. That way for those spouses that struggle with having joy in the rough times...we could pass all no the useful info.

One time I went hiking for a CF fundraiser about 30 years ago. We climbed stairs over and over in a office building. That was my hiking adventure. :D
I love how Peter and Mary can put a sponsorship in the middle of the vlog and still be totally genuine and themselves. Sometimes ads get annoying but with these guys I'm happy to listen.

I love how your husband cares so much about you and your health. I'm a stage 4 cancer survivor and people my age (16) don't understand having 17 doctors and miss so much school because all the doctors appointments. Get well soon❤️

Sweet Frey's. I found you about a month ago through the recommend videos, I was seeing different things with CF and Mary's beautiful face and didn't know what CF stood for then I watched one video and found out it was Cystic Fibrosis. I had heard of CF because i have other health issues but nothing like CF but I still didn't know WHAT it was so for the last month I have been catching up on your videos. So all that to say first I'm praying for you, and second because ya'll have such a great sense of humor I have to let Mary know that in one video I was watching (not sure if it old or new because i watch the current day then binge watch old videos) but she mentioned fungi and bacteria, and I was looking at your CF t-shirts, me with my strange since of humor could only see her lung picture with little mushrooms 🍄 floating around with the hearts. I absolutely love watching you and I hope you are not offended in anyway!! (The picture in my head was really cute 😆)

Was it Reglan/Metoclopramide? Reglan can cause a kind of "Restless legs" type sensation all over your body, like you need to flex and move your muscles. It is SO scary and uncomfortable!! I have had that before. It can also cause anxiety, tremors and muscle tension and shaking. You should put it on your allergy list if it happened to you. Compazine and Phenergan can cause the same type of reaction. Benadryl can help ease the reaction. I am so sorry you lost sleep!

Hi Mary... I have those same exact symptoms after my iron infusions. When it first started happening to me it was a bit startling. I have to take Benadryl after my treatments. It usually lasts a few days after each treatment. Hoping you feel better after stop taking the medication you mentioned.
I am so glad you are home, Peter and Mary, I'm praying that going off the new med will be enough to end your muscle spasms. I was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a bone cancer. I have really felt God's perfect peace in all this, I have so many people praying for me which as you know is such a blessing. Next Wednesday, May 3rd, I will have surgery to remove my scapula(shoulder blade) along with the malignant tumor that has destroyed this bone. This will be a huge surgery but I have plans to decorate my hospital room with lights and such, and.... on my wall in front of my bed, I plan to put my new "Do What You Think You Can't Do" sign that you guys just sent me a couple weeks ago.Even with God's perfect peace, it still is scary to have cancer and a big surgery, but I am doing all that I can to make sure that my environment is cheerful and conducive to healing.Thank you Peter and Mary, and of course, Ollie, for encouraging your "People" to Trust in the Lord, and to do all that we can to live our lives to the best of our ability. By the way, you two need to sing another silly song and mess it up so I can tell you how it really goes ;), I haven't done that in quite a while!
This year, my adventure has been increasingly an up hill battle. On top of a my mental illness(and professionals dropping my file), I had surprise surgery on a retina detachment on my right eye. Honestly, recovery from surgery was a scary and testing time. I'm still in recovery, my eye sight actually isn't fully back and I'm still fighting the good fight with my mental illness. But, ya know, do what you think you can't do. 🤗
The antibiotic Cipro (sp) caused this exact same thing to me. Not sure if you are taking that but wanted to throw that out there. I can't take it for this reason.

Peter, you can fix those cabinets w/material or other ways, so the bedroom doesn't look clinical or look like a hospital room. Sort of hide the obvious and make it a bedroom, not a sick room. I could !mail you different fabrics.
How do you like those shelves?? I was gonna grab the same ones from Walmart for my new apartment. I was gonna put all my crafting supplies in it!
Use a small bracket and attach the shelf to the wall...Just a DIY suggestion

You guys, you can put some towels or something under the FRONT part of the shelving to make it lean back and if you want, to protect the wall, you can hang some fabric behind the shelf between the shelf and the wall. I'm sure I'm not helping or you already know that, but just in case you think it would help. Best wishes to you all. :)

I had a similar reaction to what I thought was a gastroparesis medication. turns out it was low potassium causing the symptoms, and have been able to restart the med with no problem. Hope everything goes well!

I have GP and low potassium. My fingers and face go tingly when my potassium gets low...
Restless leg can be caused by anemia.

I really like Marry's wheelchair I tried hard to get them to let me have one similar to her's. Mine is a pain to tare down and but back together and it's heavy it's almost like 30lbs. and the one I really wanted only weighted 19lbs...
I only need mine on my bad days so that why my insurance wouldn't flip the bill for a smaller light weight one for me... But I believing and trusting God to totally heal me soon...

Mary is SO STRONG!! 💪💪 When I first got my tube it took me awhile to adjust and I would NEVER go out with a feed. Mary and Peter!! are such an insperation!!
Could it be low potassium or an iron? If it continues I'd be asking the doctors if that is a possibly. Love you guys and you are always in my prayers.

Phantom I agree it most likely is the meds, I don't think it's the low iron. I was just informing the original commenter of the fact she had said she has low iron. Also the low iron did cause her a very similar problem whilst she was just in hospital but it's unlikely to still be that because she was given a lot of iron.
Taking you up on the question. lol My adventure in life is to write about the things I can't do with my COPD. I imagine myself in all kinds of weird places and adventures.

I have gastroparesis! Was the med reglan/metaclopramide? I took that for a few days and got severe tardive dyskinesia and angioedema of the tongue!! not a good drug! hope you feel better soon!

I have gastro paresis also. I have tried a lot of medications and it hasn't helped so I am getting a gastric pacemaker soon I am really hoping it helps

Hi Mary and Peter, My name is Marie. I'm glad you guys are back at home and you are doing well. My parents got the same brand and as the whole set from walmart too. It's really nice.
The blanket thing said my code is good for 3 months. It says discount/3 months so thats how I take that. i wanted to do a service dog one but we dont get a chance to take pics when he is training or working (in his vest) at the moment. Hopefully will have more in 3 minths or to try as hard as I can to get as many pics of him. i have plenty before we started service dog training but not.a lot since we started.
Magnesium deficiency. Try a good multistrain probiotic suppliment for the stomach issue it will help, google VSL3 probiotic it's got great results
Amina Hassan The medicine she's was taking ( I have the some issue) was to help speed stomach emptying and keep it moving on thru. Magnesium and probiotics wouldn't make the stomach empty faster.

Marieke I don't know what Mary is on. They one that did me in was Reglan. I have ehlers-danlos syndrome and whole cast of other issues. Due to other medications and to the fact I tend to get the "only 1% of people get this side effect" issue. There is not anything at the moment I can take to speed up stomach emptying. Hopefully you find someone that works for you.
Oh man, I took Reglan when I was younger for nausea and I got spasms in my eyebrows! (like I couldn't get them out of a raised position). I think muscle spasms are a fairly common side effect for Reglan.
Emily S Your right I know a handful of people that have had that issue. I just wished I had known that I could pass out and be out for 5 hours on it.

See if you are able to drink a juice glass of Tonic Water, maybe add a little OJ for taste. Tonic Water has Quinine in it. Helps with cramping and restless legs. But ask the Docs first. We all want MARY SAFE, and recovered. 🙏 for you always. May the feeding tube make you 💪! ❤️🤗🐕👩🏼👱🏻

My favorite "Good morning, guys!" And one of my ALL TIME favorite moments - in the car, Mary singing, then both of you singing...felt like I could worship right along with you, along for the ride. And if Mary can sing that song through her circumstance, I can too. We all can. No excuses.
