"And an hour later I went out and got a dog"... this chick is awesome 😂🐕
I probably would have done the same thing...granted, I have a mostly retired service dog and a disability that she helps with so I would have her anyway. Legitimate service animals are excused from no pet policies.
LITERALLY
XD
This is the new generation of advertisment
No hate but that is not the right thing to do. Almost like using her disadvantage for her own advantage? Doesn’t sound funny to me tho I can understand that this policy should reconsider people with disabilities but what she did is also not right. The moral of the story is gone. She’s like trying to make people laugh on her breaking the rules? And for her to try to trick people who pitied her? That is not funny if a normal people done it but now since a disability doing it, now it’s funny? Smart? Errr, that’s weird to me.
"I winked at a guy once... And then OCD made me wink 27 more times" That line KILLED me 🤣
If you look closely you can see her wink her right eye at the camera, too.

When she was telling the story of people complaining about her “dog” barking, I was hoping the whole time that she’d say “so i got a dog” AND SHE DID & I WAS SO HAPPY😂
I totally think this was the only acceptable ending to this story.

Just because she said she barks, doesn't mean she's gonna bark while filming. People with Tourette's Syndrome don't have control over their tics although there are triggers that will manifest the tic.

The story that Pam went through with suing her school system is like what happened with my sister.
My sister, Emily, has ASD and her school couldn't handle behavioral fits that she had. When she was in 9, she couldn't read because no teacher could teach her without her having a tantrum because she would lash out when stressed or if she didn't understand something. She had been switched between special needs classes and mainstream classes in the district, but all had the same problem. One teacher in her mainstream class even made a presentation about "why Emily is different" to the whole class while she wasn't there and without our permission and because of this, she was bullied. On other occasions, she ran out of school once and the teachers had to tackle her because she almost ran into the street and one time she hid in a room in the school and the police had to be called because no one could find her. We pulled her out and my dad started doing home school learning with her and in only a year, she went from kindergarten reading skills to 3rd grade. However, the school refused to acknowledge this or take responsibility for their complete incompetence so we sued them and eventually, we won. My dad was able to teach her for a year with some compensation, and when that was done, we wanted to continue to home school her, but the district wouldn't allow it. So, they recently agreed to put her in a NPS school, where she is now at 13.
She now loves to read and is at about her grade level in academics. There are still daily struggles she has, but we are just trying to do what we can to make her believe in herself.
Right now, I think she is at that phase where she is having trouble finding that thing that makes her proud to be different and gets down on herself a lot, but she has recently started to find a passion in making stories and videos. I'm really proud of her even if she doesn't believe it right now.
Oh, and yes, "I sued the school" is correct because the student's name is always first, so we would all laugh a little when the lawyer would say attorney for Emily or Emily (last name) vs (blank) School District. lol
Thank you if you actually read this rant.
My son is ASD&ADHD in kinder. IEPs are such a PITA! My son is so smart but school is a major struggle.
Thanks for sharing this story. My daughter has adhd and struggles with school work. It is frustrating sometimes because she struggles socially and learning is a challenge for her.
Woah
I’m also Emily, I also have ASD, & I also sued my school 😂
Thanks for sharing your story, you really sound a lot like my youngest daughter, her younger brother has Asperger's and ADHD and had a lot of problems in school and we went through the same thing that your sister went through. We were fortunate that we didn't have to choose a school but man we went through a lot of teachers a lot of Para's until we finally found the right fit for him and I'm happy to say you did graduate 6 years ago. But boy it was a struggle.
And it sounds like you were a big advocate for your sister, which is why you remind me of my daughter and how she was a big advocate for her brother not only with the staff but with other students
I love her response about liking her disability. I get tired of people who think I should want to be "Healed" because I have autism . Yet I feel that it makes me more imaginative and makes me me.
Yes-you learn to live with Autism. You can't cure it. I have ASD too and I have friends that tell me that I don't show signs of ASD.
Never be ashamed of what makes you unique.
I have autism too, I understand what you are saying. It is not something that can be treated, it is a disability. People are not very understanding, it is frustrating. I wish you the best, and just know that there are people you empathize with what you're feeling ❤
Late-diagnosed autistic 37yr old over here! ❤
Edit: I feel like I should add that while it's throwing me for a BIG loop in its combo of AuDHD (also late-diagnosed at 36)/Anxiety/PTSD, I do find things I love about it. My favorite is that I have the pattern recognition skills of Sherlock mf-ing Holmes, w/ a mind's eye that can show me movies while I read.
I have autism and don’t consider it a disability rather a disorder because my mind is able to run rings around most people

totally agree about the assumptions/overreactions/inspirations and those disabled people who feel the world owes them. As a disabled guy, this happens so much when I go out in public - much prefer people come and ask rather than over compensating/pity/avoiding eye contact/crossing the street because they have had a bad experience with other disabled people or if they are worried about doing the wrong thing.

For the people not understanding what she means, people will see someone be put in a wheelchair and not only them but their families as well, will learn to adapt. Some people get cars that are specialized for people with a walking disability. They believe that they are an inspiration because of the fact that they are disabled (reference the pity part Pam explained). But the real reason people should feel inspired is because of how they managed to deal with it. For example, Helen Keller is blind and deaf. People look at her as an inspiration, not because of her disabilities, but for the fact that she wrote books and was able to deal with what she was given.

And Pam, I just love you. You're so damned funny.
I absolutely LOVE this. I have students that come to my clinic that struggle with a number of things (multiple personalities, Tourette’s, seizure disorders, etc.) to just sit and be understood. They like for me to ask questions that they can answer when they are able so I can understand each person and their “tells” or “ticks”. It’s not a pity place, it’s a place of understanding and learning. Always!
My daughter has ADHD and I have asked her about her challenges and it’s helpful for us both. For a long time she felt down about herself or that because she struggles with school she feels like she’s not “bright”. I tell her that we all have struggles with something in life but that she has a great way of looking at the world and that she really thinks outside the box; she is wired in a different way but that’s what a great thing about her. She has many wonderful qualities and talents and those things are going to serve her well in the future. Sadly we expect “cookie cutter” results in education which only serves to frustrate people or diminish them, as Pam’s early school experience demonstrates.
Sorry for the lengthy post.

I was really happy when Pam started talking about using successful disabled people as inspiration. I feel like not only the society but also people who are near and dear to me started making passive-aggressive comments about how I, a fully functioning “normal” human, am nothing compared to them. It was hurt full and I felt useless for the longest time. But then I realized I had my own accomplishments and they had their own, and that I should never compare myself with others and learn to celebrate my small victories.😊
Honestly it sounds like you DISAGREE with her on that because she is marginalizing the importance of giving people positive affirmations for successfully living life and being well adjusted.
15:25 You have to be proud of the small victories to get to the large victories, and there's no problem with other people being proud or inspired by "normal" people or disabled people that aren't as successful as Pam.
It's fine for her to only want praise for major successes since SHE'S past the smaller struggles, but a lot of people aren't past them.
My friend's son had some serious overlapping disabilities and I'm proud of him when he can go into the bathroom or dress on his own because its REALLY REALLY HARD for him.
And I bleepin AM inspired by how hard he works for everything. So I don't really like Pams take on the inspiration stuff that she mentions so often.
She says she knows she doesn't speak for everyone but I just wish she'd stop repeatedly telling everyone how offended she is when people are proud of and inspired by disabled people for MERELY living life with a disability. Sorry Pam but people don't have to be some celeb that overcame the odds for me to be proud of him.
Pam is the person I wish I could be. I have Tourette’s, OCD, ADHD, and BPD; and am intersex. I was forced into being a sex I didn’t want to be, and hated everybody around me because of it. As a result, I unfortunately did not have the support that Pam had, often lashed out, and was a major danger to myself. I truly hated everything about myself and was suicidal at one point.
By the time I was in middle school (6th through 8th grade) the only thing in my life I knew I enjoyed was music. I learned my first instrument in 6th grade and haven’t looked back since. I have improved significantly since i’ve began playing and performing music. I truly am a different person now that i’ve found something I enjoy. I hope one day to become an advocate for disabilities, mental health, and LGBTQ+ people. I finish my undergrad next year and am excited for my future.
That dream began when I discovered Pam and realised “Hey! I could do that!”.
"You clap and laugh and I get life!"
One of the greatest things I have ever heard.
*indeed*
Where is that line?
Peter Pan tinkerbell
Yes exactly what I was going to say!
"I wink, uncontrollably, and men get VERY confused. Like this week, literally this week, I winked at a guy once, and he was confused, and then OCD made me wink at him 27 more times, and I LITERALLY thought he was going to implode." I can picture this, perfectly. 😂 😂 🤣
OMG 😅😅
AHAHAHAAH
I CAN IMAGINE HER WINKING 28 TIMES IN A ROW LOOOOL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pam is a literal vibe!
OMG When Pam talked about the advocate who said that “People with disabilities will never get A’s or B’s and never goes to college,” I was mortified! That advocate is horrible! I had a teacher who allowed me to write poorly as a child and she commented to my father, “But that’s how deaf people writes.” He was livid and threatened her to correct my writing or else he would take it to the Board of Education. I can relate to the fact that people tend to focus on the label when they should get to know us as a person.
I love her! I wanted to hear more about her experience with the school system. I fought for two years to get my daughter help for her dyslexia and ADHD and it's a constant battle to make sure they are giving her the accommodations on a regular basis.
I have dyslexia and I perfered to have instruction on how to deal with it rather than cop out with accommodation. I was appalled at the thought of not taking my SAT's with my classmates. I chose to learn to fish rather than be given a fish.
I was diagnosed with ADD (hypoactive, not hyperactive) when I was in 3rd grade, but none of my teachers believed anything was wrong with me, just that I didn't want to pay attention or do the work. Fortunately, my mom has the same condition (hyperactive, though, so we're opposites lol), so she understood me when it felt like no one else did. Dealing with the school system may not always work out, but I'm sure your daughter will grow to remember and appreciate how much you fought for her and what you did for her more than what the school didn't ♥️
We notice :)
@@ingriddubbel8468 Instruction on how to deal with it is an accomodation.
I hope your daughter gets the right help and keep fighting for her right for her educations and accommodations. It will be tough if she is thirteen or older make sure she goes to meetings that involve her education so she can learn to stand up for herself.
I found with adhd it got way better for my son when we found school that was completely hands on in every subject
Pamela: I love you more than all people
Bear's reaction: yeah bish everyone does =_=
Omfg. Wtf is this a fking dreaaamm
@@cuteslitz7792 nah bro you actually got a heary from "da hot doc"

Amanda Smith ty😂😂
“SHE BARKS!!!” I love her so much! (And you, too, Dr. Mike.) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Pam and I love how she says what she needs to, to get a point across and it being used as evidence.
I love how Mike gives people his undivided attention to whoever he has in his channel. I feel like his the type of person that makes you the most important person in the room when hes talking to you.
100% just like the late Chester Bennington. Mike seems so charming and sweet and kind.
When you’re literally the only person in the room 👀😂
I get that feeling sometimes...
i noticed that too imo its respectful
Pam: I bark primarily between 12 and 3 am
Dr Mike: what, like a warewolf thing?
🤣💀
It's really cool how he gives her his full attention. Like that focus as he watches her, he makes sure everyone on his channel gets his undivided attention.
People as a species try to make sense of the world. Putting people in a category that helps them remember things about Tourette’s. They can remember things from say, Pam and find out your specific tics in the next person. It also makes preping another person to not get confused, or offended & normalize & promote understanding! She is also a comedians and really funny. You don’t feel weird about telling your job to people. I have asthma, and have a puffer, nebulizer and epi pen. It is to my benefit me that people around me know. We find laughter and light to dark things! Everything is better to destigmatism and light shining on people who are different rather than what people used to do, hide them in shady hospitals etc. and abuse them. Now we are accepting, celebrating and learning how to keep people in community with no shame or stigma. I hope you understand where I am coming from, mostly people have a couple of boxes, safe, not safe, very basic. I know a couple people who are blind in different degrees, autistic in wildly different ways, I learned that they really appreciated my direct way, nuances missed her. My cousins kid will be 4 his whole life he turned 50. Having depression I know we all have things in common and thing unique to each of us.
This woman is so naturally funny. I laughed so hard at the way she tells stories. Everyone needs a friend like her. She has such a positive vibe and would always be a laugh a minute when hanging out
This was so sweet. Thank you!
Pamela Comedy omg Hi Pamela 💕😍
Pamela Comedy you are very sweet. If you are at my school I will definitely invite you to the mall.

Ok so I’ve watched this video 9 times already. I watch it when I’m bored or sad because THIS DUO IS ICONIC🤣❤️
She makes me smile so many times!when she smile i smile❤️❤️
"why did you roll your eyes-"
"I HAVE TOURETTES"
a common conversation I have every day with people lol
Mike: “why are you always enclosed?”
Pamela: “I’m 4”6 it feels nice”
Mike:... (so relatable 😂)
I am 4'7 and I don't relate with that, but I also do it depends on the situation I guess. Like when I was younger I would go into my dogs dog house with him and read a book and it was pretty cramped, litterly my dog was either on my feet or I had one foot on him and the other he was laying on, but say I am put in a crowd of people. I will not be able to stay in that crowd without having a problem. Litterly I was shopping and 3 people where behind me looking at the rack opposite to the one I was looking at I tensed up, walked to my cousins and they where like what's wrong and I was like people popped my personal bubble, I was having breathing problems because it felt like my chest was being crushed, my mom believes I have anxiety like her but I don't know and I want diagnosed with it so I can't claim to have it.
Also I sleep in a super small place I have a twin size bed a small area between the wall and the bed maybe a foot at most and 3 walls and a door. So it just depends on the situation for me.
WRONG! She's 4 foot 6 AND A HALF!!!!!
McKenna Ü I’m 4”5 and I’m a kid but I used to wish I was taller but I heard taller people are more likely to get cancer
Are you referring to how tight his shirt is? Enclosed?
Madalynn Cirstea omg I’m the same hieght lol
Dr. Mike is such a good listener, love love love you. Pamella, no words for you. I love this duo soooo much
I love Pam. Shes so funny and embraces life and people. Great video
