I haven't had any issues with any of my units. I have 4 thermals and 3 night vision units. As long as you keep up with firmware and read the owners manual they're super user friendly.
Hey guys, how far can you ID a figure with the scope all the way zoomed? II saw the last shot was 488 yards, was that at 25x zoom? I saw 'hot spots' to the left side at the end, any idea of that distance?
Hey Glenn, the last video that says 488 yds we had ranged a building to the left. We use ABL's paired with the scope. The coyote you see was in some kind of wheat/hay field at about 200yds with no zoom. Towards the end the heat signatures you see are deer over 1000yds away.
@@coyoteincoutfitters Thanks, I am seriously considering this scope for - looking for Sasquatch (honest) - and we will be overlooking a valley/thicket area from at least 200 yards away, and I was wondering what the resolution of the scope would be at various magnifications. What would be identifiable at range.
@@glennnorbergDONOTUSE we have several models in our group. Thor 4 384-4.5-18 easily get positive identification 300-400 yds depending on humidity not zoomed in. Thor 4 640-2.5-25 would say 300ish yds no zoom and a Thor 4 640-4-40 is probably closer to 400-500 yds no zoom all of them depends on weather conditions you will have to play with settings to find the best picture quality for the current conditions.

@@iaespinosah76 just got the Thor 4, and firmware version 480 has issues freezing. I updated to 483 and have had no issues since.

I think he'll find you before you find him.
These sure look like coyote pups?!?
Hate to be the guy wandering into that field at night
not being that guy but ahah but just stick to shooting one time bc ur running shots are not good. they were so far off it hurt me to watch
Absolutely a waste of ammo. Made me cringe too
Probably don't reproduce either...would be a bit cruel...loljk
