Michigan farm owner here. Hunting year round. Have a mad pack of coyotes ripping up the deer heard. 106 acre farm and my next door neighbor has 103 acre. We have resident coyotes bold and brave running the land. Anyone looking for a all Access pass it's ideal. Hospitality is second to none. Coyotes in abundance. Lost all our fawn. We have a river to the north 100 acres to shoot across. Total 400 acres to work. More neighborhood residents joining their land to this mix.. Help! Road trip to Michigan!!!
If the offer still stands and you need help controlling those dogs I live in central Michigan and would be more than happy to come out and help day or night!

What county you referring to? Is there any hotel/motels or vrbo’s to stay at. Would need a day or so to check out lay of land before setting up thermal stands after dark
Boss just did a nice donation for us for a tournament. He’s not as big as some other call guys but let me say u won’t find a better guy. He puts his heart and soul out there helping others. Second if it not been for Torry Cook and family in there generosity years ago I might not still been in the sport . Nice work brother
I own the Icotec Outlaw and the foxpro X-24. The Outlaw is my go-to for various reasons, but I break out the X-24 when I've used the Outlaw on properties a couple of times. I'm finding that the slightest variations in pitch, pace, and overall sound can bring call shy coyotes in for a look. I'm now a firm believer that coyotes can, and do, learn a sound. Slight changes in the sound can have a positive effect. I've killed coyotes on property that just quit responding to one caller, but will come in on the other caller. Neither caller holds the exact same sounds.
Good video, good information and very professional. Good to see that even though you prostaff for icotec that you did not have a negative comment against other call companies. In my opinion that’s is representing a company correctly.
Great Video I got a lot out of it. tried for the first time here in NJ mid-February. called not long and boom a dog come running in open field. I stopped the call when I saw it, now I know my mistake. Dog cut out but i was able to call back and ended up with a miss due to scope not properly sighted in again great video.
Absolutely fantastic video! I do have a quick thing to add… I do not understand why coyote hunters are so stingy about their sounds, and letting people know what they’re using. Because at the end of the day a good coyote hunter knows that he needs to be using quality sounds that other people are not using, and the only way to know what others are using is when they tell you what they are using so then you can make an informed decision to change up your sound list. If you’re accidentally using the same sound as the other guy on your property… well that’s pointless so it’s better to share, and become better than to be protect and remain the same.
I couldn’t agree more my friend. My partner and I do t exactly agree on this topic so that’s why I didn’t give out too many exact sounds we’re using. Thank you for watching the video and for your input. It truly does mean a lot to me.
And the prices too. I get it.. the market is somewhat small.. but for someone like me who doesn't have a ton of disposable income it's hard to justify 8 bucks on a SINGLE file that I get to try on the once a month I get to go calling vs. doing farmer shjt. Especially when these guys have HUNDREDS of files to choose from. Hell.. make an affordable starter pack? If you want me to spend as much on one file as I would an actual music album, give me enough of an affordable "sampler" to prove to me it's worth it. In the long run i'd give you MORE money by buying more total if I could nickle and dime it at 2-4 bucks each and not feel shame about spending that much.
I like to do a fade away sound reduction on the prey distress before I move to vocals...as if a yote is carrying the rabbit away. Might draw in a yote that is near by. Love using the submissive female for February March too. Called in my biggest male using this calling method.
I was hunting tonight (December 31) up in Aroostook county. I ended up howling with my icotech, and heard some yotes go WILD in the distance. They ended up going completely silent, not really sure if I should have kept the howling and barking going, or if I should have switched it up. I also used pup in distress the other day and had a big ol yote come in
We can hunt coyote day or night all year in ohio besides during the week and a half deer rifle season. I'm fairly new to the sport still learning I've killed 5 so far now that I finally have a good thermal, scanner, call, and the help of some seasoned veterans.
Awesome video! I like the Icotec for playing two sounds at once. While doing a prey distress call I’ll roll into the pup distress with the prey distress still going. Love the Icotec! But does make me happy to know others are running different calls than me!
Lol now I get it I see your logo you guys were down to the gun shop in Augusta. Or at least i seen the great big symbol on the back of a white pick up. . Don't know if it was you or not but I had the black Jeep lifted With a stinger bumper parked right behind.
I had nv for years and just finally gave in and got a agm thermal and it is most def a game changer. I mean nv was great when it was all i had but if u can put out the money for nv u look hard enough u can find a thermal in that same range. Just a different game then using a light. Last coyote i got was my 1st thermal kill and it didnt even know we walked into the field and set up. Henwas bouncing around trying to get a mouse when he got blasted. But had i shined a light he wouldnt of been simply standing there looking for dinner he would of been gone.
New to the game you’re in Michigan. It gets dark around 6 o’clock in December. Does it matter what time you’re out there 7:00 PM 1 o’clock in the morning 4 o’clock in the morning? Is there a prime time to be out if you could only get out once?
Hey man I’m in Maine. I think it’s best to go out around midnight or 1am because everything has died down and the coyotes are much more active typically. Best of luck!!!
I'm interested in your thoughts what do you consider an interrogation howl ? I know my answer but we're all different hunters. And we only learn By soaking up the information from our losses and gains. Sincerely E.B
So if my fox ,pro goes up to twenty What would be the volume you would start your stand with? And I appreciate you and as a local mainer and you're hunting. And tips !!
Could you possibly point me in the right direction of where to find sounds and what call i could use to download them? I use a few calls and have had great success coyote hunting last year but i am looking to change my sounds up as i think they are getting used to my sounds that im using. Im also hunting in the great state of maine sir!
Thanks man. I feel like this video is way more informative than most. And to be fair, I gave the types of sounds. There are so many different sounds out there that even if I said which specific sounds I like they change so often because I don’t use the same sounds over and over. Constantly changing it up to keep the coyotes curious. I don’t feel like you should base your opinion on me based on one little thing man.
What a dumb comment. He just did a 20 minute informative video and says he doesnt want to give out all his trade secrets. No good hunter gives out all his secrets.
I like your videos and the information but dam man, video clips in front end are so annoying! I normally don’t subscribe to channels that do this. But i like your insight tips. flash roll your brand on 2 second clip in beginning and then let us here your good advice 😊
Quit trying to drag out a video with the wasted time intro. You could be an awesome guy but I'll never find out because I'm dumping this vid as soon as I'm done typing this comment

first video I watched on coyote hunting and calling. Learned tons! Thank you.
Awesome to hear!!!!!
Out of all the calls for coyote hunting the only call that has ever been successful in coyotes showing up was turkey calls in my area.
Makes sense to me!

All true hunters and trappers are helping to keep yote numbers down as best we can
Wow. What brave heroes.
Great Video. Don't forget to have a back up mouth call for when the batteries die out on you in the middle of a sequence.

Learn something new everyday! Any tips for calling cougars?
Hahaha! The cougars will just come to you. Just have to be patient my friend 😂
There are no cougars / Mountain lion in Maine so that's what our game wardens tell us.!

Boss Predator acoustics on Facebook. Some of the best sounds you’ll find!
