Hi there, I have a Master 2010, I was getting a EGR code, the van was starting for 1 second and then stopping, I fitted a new EGR, same problem, now getting code P0100 problem air flow mass circuit any ideas, I can see diesel in the fuel lines, I don't think its the sender. any ideas..
Is p0100 the only code you’ve got? Is the immobiliser light going out?
Hi I have had this problem with my 2013 plate movano. 2 years ago I replaced sender with new one from dealers, which lasted on year, then I changed the sender and the loom (from dealers about £80 for the connector and bits of wire). Now it's gone again. I don't just want to keep replacing. Surely vauxhall should do something about this as it is a common reoccurring fault. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi yes thats very poor if its gone again! tbh ive replace quite a few of these now but never had any fail again in a short period.. once the modified room is fitted you should really get any problems.. ta
I got under van and undid the clip on the sender. The new loom looks like it's burnt out I cleaned and replaced and it worked a few times now not starting again.
@@mohammedtayyab6314 hmm the look may be damaged abit further back .. I’m afraid that’s really Gona need some looking into.. the feeds etc will need checking mate
Hi guys we have a VauxhallMovano and we had the same problem we changed the loom because the old one was burnt out but we didn’t change the sender unit and Saturday it done the same thing turned over but no fuel going from the sender unit will the pump you put up work for this van and whereabouts are youDo you do work
Hi mate , thanks for the comment.. ive replied to you fb message 👍👍
I have a 15 plate Master, wouldn't start AA guy said it was the fuel pump after banging on the tank a few times. he sprayed easy start down the air pipe and then a injector fault came up on the dash
Got towed home, checked the fuel pump sender and connector, one pin on both were burnt out, Changed sender unit and connector, but still wont start and still saying injector fault on dash. And now now fuel gauge empty light is on and saying empty as well, but I know it has 1/4 of a tank in it.... So frustrating. Any ideas ????
Check all the wiring , it must be wiring related but may be corroded elsewhere
@@diydaly Will do, bloody hard work when you are working in the street 😅
hi did you get the fuel guage to work as mine is the same after changing pump and wiring thanks
Hi recently bought 2013 Renault master the fuel gauge didn't move not got a clue what it could be and don't want to be ripped off by taking it to a garage could you please help
Hi mate , have you taken the connector off and had a look at the pins ?
@@diydaly is that the yellow plug thats on your UA-cam video
Yeah the one on top of the fuel tank?
Ok mate will clean the ends up and see if it works thank you for your time
👍👌 no probs
Hi I have a 2014 Renault master. It was parked in a garage having the brakes done it was moved on completion and parked up. Now we have no ignition lights so won’t turn over. Radio and windows work and locking. Battery charged but still no joy. Changed ignition relay still nothing. Could it be an imobilizer ?? TIA.
always a possibility but unlikely, sounds strange though.. does it have a ny fault codes logged?
@@diydaly no as we have no ignition lights on the dashboard. So we can’t plug in computer. The heater works as does radio windows central locking. We changed ignition relay no different. Could it be a fuse although we did check them might have missed something. Or immobilizer ??
@@tarsneyisleestrelas4659 check the main maxi fuses on the battery
@@diydaly. I’ll check them tomorrow as the van is in the garage. I guess there is separate fuses as most electrics are working. I’ll keep you up dated and let you know what it is when we sort it out. Wondering if it’s the immobilizer ? Certainly is strange 😂. Thanks for your help I’ll keep you informed.
@@tarsneyisleestrelas4659 👍👍. 🤞 you get it sorted!
Great video saved along of time went straight to the plug
what would you say the reason? just pump ware and extra amps or restrictions in the fuel system such as fuel filter?
many thanks for sharing.
subscribed 😀
Thanks for subscribing.. much appreciated 😃👌 . Ive seen it quite a few times, im not exactly sure why, could be to do with the pump wear or the original connector may have smaller pins that can't quite handle the amps.. the repair connector wire & pins are slightly thicker
Hi I have an issue and van won't start but all lights come on but won't even try and turn over. I hear a click but nothing
If its just clicking, its likely to be either a flat battery, bad earth or fault starter motor
@@diydaly I have 12.7v from battery.ive checked the battery terminals, disconnected and reconnected. But I've been told to check earth from gearbox to body first
yeah use a jump lead if need be simply to bypass the earth see if it makes any difference
I'm covered through my bank with RAC so looks like they will be coming out now
Thx alot. And I'll let you know the verdict
Just got a quote from a garage £935 to fix this problem. Does this sound right?
If it’s genuine oe parts the pump is around the £350-400 area and the wiring loom about £60ish plus the pump seal / cap (£40ish) if I remember correctly and about 2 hours labour ish at the garages rate .. I’d expect that price at a main dealer!
Cheers mate thanks for the advice 👍🏻

hi mate great video mine starts but wont run and glow plug light wont go out any ideas or anyone please help please please please
Hi mate , sorry to hear your having problems! Have you had the fault codes read?
@@diydaly hi mate thank you so much for taking the time to reply. i did have a so called mechanic plug one in he turned out to be a total tw"" .i'm toying with the idea of buying one myself but there very expensive. this van has been in a front end crash and there is a hole in the erg cooler but i'm sure this won't affect it. it will start and run with easy start if i keep the revs up it will stay running and when it's warm start off the key just fine.
kind regards karl.
When u say a hole in the egr cooler , do u mean on the coolant or exhaust gas side? If it’s blowing excessive it may log a fault.. yes some of them are quite expensive but there are amount of cheaper alternatives on eBay / Amazon to do a basic code read .. if you check the video description I should have some links to some 👌
@@diydaly again thank you for replying
the hole is in the stainless steel pipe on the exhaust side but i'm sure my problem is on the glow plug circuit.i've checked all the fuses i can find but don't know if there is another relay apart from the aluminium one on the front panel.
kind regards karl
Hmm I’ll do some digging , you could really do with a fault code read first 👍
Thanks brother!

Why can't the manufacturer fit colour coded wires instead of 4 purple wires ?????????
🤣 would make the job easier
OK thank you 👍

Tried showing this to my mechanic who didn’t wanna know he then spent seven hours before finding this exact problem then charged me £900
