i will never understand the argument that complete remakes don't deserve to be nominated for goty. i understand things that are by technicality remakes but really aren't like tlou part 1, but something like re4 remake totally deserves a nomination. aside from story it is a essentially a completely new game, the combat was reworked, dialogue wasn't reused, completely remade environments. re4 remake definitely deserves its spot in the nominees.

I'm not trying to take away from all the work that was put into it, like I said in the vid it's a great game. I just feel at this point, there needs to be a section for remakes/remasters. Especially with as many are coming out. A new game that comes out that is good and does something cool might not get its spotlight because something like a remake gets the spot. Again, I absolutely love Resident Evil, especially 4, and think it deserves a spot on here, just not on the main GOTY because it's already had its year.
