Yes you and your late brother with family are the best. It’s because you have worked for it and you are worth it. Jealousy is not an option. People must understand that you must work for success, not to be lazy. I love your spirit. I know much about guitar playing, but I’m not good at it. I hope I can be better. I believe you 100% what you tell us in this video.

The sheer delight and wonder and enthusiasm in Tommy when he talks about Buddy Rich is how I feel about Tommy's playing. Artistry on another level, absolutely.
Thank you for this wonderful interview.

What an amazing interview. Thank you Don and Tommy! I'm not yet 40, so much of the music and people Don interviews predate me. Don - just watching your interviews has introduced me to so much music. Despite being Australian and a guitar fan, I never really listened to Tommy (maybe the acoustic vibe wasn't 'pop' or 'rock' enough for me at the time). But WOW! What a humble and amazing interviewee. Let me also say how amazing an interviewer you are. You ooze friendliness - your smile makes us all realize that everything's gonna be OK. Don, you share the joy for music with your interviewees and never ask a 'generic question' (or at least it never feels that way). Love it!

So genuine and humble. What an inspiring human being. I have seen TE once in Sydney, at the City Recital Hall in 2003. It was like nothing before and nothing after. So much spirit an passion. Thankyou so much for this interview. Take care of yourselves and each other. :)

I've always loved Tommy. I've also love to Chad Atkins and their collaborative efforts. I have no idea what Tommy's story was. Unbelievable! That his dad would drop everything and start touring Australia with his kids.
I was deeply moved by the Chet Atkins story. Fabulous interview Dom

Great, great interview and so inspiring. My only question would be "how did Tommy get any schooling while he was on the road from such a young age ?."

He was home schooled until child services made them go back to school, even though he was recieving a great education from his parents!

It kinda funny, a few weeks back I was watching a few Buddy Rich UA-cam videos and I came across one interview from back in the 70s where Buddy Rich was disrespecting Chet Atkins basically saying why would you listen to Chet when you can listen Jazz guitarists with more skill. I kinda didn’t like him as much after that! 🤨
