Love the pinxterbloom azalea! My wife found a couple of them growing wild at our place here in NC. They like to hide in crowded areas of the woods, it seems.
You are so lucky!!!! I have a few hidden in the hedgerow to keep them hidden from deer. However they are growing very slowly cause its dry and very deep shade...
I wished I lived closer than Pennsylvania, because I would definitely be hanging out in your back yard! I am try dwarf tomatoes this year. Recommended by impatient gardener. My only option was to winter sow them, no sprouts yet.
Best of luck with your plant sale! If I were closer, I would make an effort to come! I haven't started too many tomatoes. I did lose a whole tray over Easter weekend, I made the mistake of watering them in the evening and left them in my tiny cold frame! Froze them to death, literally- popsicle sticks! I keep trying to start Butterfly weed, no luck there either. I keep trying! Thanks for sharing, I am enjoying the info you share on native plants! 🙂 Thank you!
Hi Grant! No they won’t die, but I’ve read that it could set them back a bit because they want night temps over 50 so I want to make sure I do everything to set them up for success because I want to sell them. If they were just for me, I probably leave them out. 😊
Hey Grant - So guess who forgot to bring in the peppers? ME! They are doing fine, the shishito were def limp yesterday morning but popped back by afternoon.
@@ninetypercentnative lol! My peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash got left out in 34 degree weather last night. 😬 I’m a harsh plant parent, but they all seem fine. (For now)

Hi Tathi! I would love to see you here! Follow me on my facebook and insta for the deets!
Would those plants die in the 40’s temperatures? I thought it had to be below 32 to kill the tomatoes and peppers.
