- #nativeplants #woodland #naturewalk A couple weeks ago we headed down to New Kent, VA to celebrate a graduation. My BFF, Christy, planned a nature walk for us before we headed off to the party. This video shows some of the native plants we found along the way.

Let me know your favorite trails to hike in the comments below!
That was such a fun day!!!
Yes, it was!!!!
That area of Mountain Laurel with the path between was stunning! Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome! I think I gotta go back there when it's in full bloom.
Looks like a great place for a walk in the woods.
Yes, it was nice and flat which I prefer!
Very cool hike!
Thank you! That was a really great weekend with friends!
Really kool hike
Thank you!
Lovely views! I like how you pointed out invasives and made recommendations to remove if it's in the home garden! Nice finds - including the pawpaw - I've never tried, but I hope to get my hands on some soon!
Oh you should get some pawpaws! You need to get a few of different genetic material for good fruiting. This is the first year I have fruit! I have 4 I am protecting from the wildlife. Talk soon!
@@ninetypercentnative lucky duck! Enjoy! I wish I could have some in my yard, but it's much too small! I'll just have to talk my family and friends into getting them!
Great video! I learned so much!
Thank you so much! Talk soon!
I have that fan clubmoss all over the place. Never knew it’s name, just that it formed a pretty carpet along one of edge of driveway.
Luck you! I see it on the walking trails I use, but none in my woodland.
Fun hike! Not so much with the snake though!!
Lol, that's a good snake!
