I worked in Jolly Roger (30th st) back in the summer of '97 when on a working holiday in the States. I actually still recognize a few of the rides, the Spider and the Flying Dutchman but it was called something else back then, Riptide of something like that. Fond memories. Thanks for posting.
The rides on the pier runs parallel to the parking lot and ends at the edge of the beach where there are no attractions over the beach area. Then over the water is fenced in are where you must pay to enter over the ocean. When I was a child in the 70's, the pier had a tee on the end and the rides went to the end of the pier. A set of swings, I used to love riding, swung out over railings and over the water. A hurricane came through in 1979 and tore off the end of the pier. the Tee was never rebuilt.
I went to trimper rides I went on the rock n roll himlayla type of ride I rode it 2 times and the himlayla music express I rode it 2 times type of ride and bumper cars 2 times and I went to jolly Rodger amusement park I look at the rides
love the rides here, but compared to trimpers there’s a very limited selection of thrill rides. absolutely love the kracken. i was around when the crazy dance was in place of the kracken, and that ride was fun too. sad to have seen it gone, but i think the kracken is a good replacement. also love the power surge, and the hurricane himalaya (which they got rid of this year unfortunately). the looping star is nothing compared to the tidal wave, but i like it nonetheless. the pier is better than the 30th street location i think, cause all the rides there are targeted towards little kids. but the wildcat coaster there is pretty good. trimpers is still the better park imo!!!!!
I want the Jolly Roger amusement parks to be just like Trimpers rides with lots of different rides and attractions aimed at families and thrill-seekers of all ages! Also, I want more amusement parks for Ocean City, Maryland like a new Jolly Roger Amusement Park location in a northern part of Ocean City, Maryland with a new water park!
The Splash Mountain water park should improve itself so it could be better and cleaner for all families and I wanna see a new water park for the OCMD Boardwalk!
The Jolly Roger Amusement Park at the Pier should be slightly a bit bigger with more rides like some old ones that were removed and a few new ones like a new double-decker carousel from Chance Rides and a new family roller coaster and also the 30th Street Jolly Roger Amusement Park should receive an upgrade and a few new rides like the return of its old Venetian double-decker carousel which would be placed in a new location or a double-decker carousel from Chance Rides, a new carousel from Chance Rides with lots of different animals in place of the on that’s currently running, the new Kraken Ride from the Jolly Roger Amusement Park at the Pier, a newer family roller coaster, a bigger swinging pirate ship ride for both the 30th Street Jolly Roger Amusement Park and the Jolly Roger Amusement Park at the Pier, etc.! Also, the Jolly Roger Amusement Park at the Pier would receive a double-decker carousel from Chance Rides with different animals in place of the one that’s currently running, a swinging pirate ship ride, a teacup ride, a new octopus ride called “The Kraken” and a new family roller coaster or a Vekoma Bermuda Blitz roller coaster! Also, the old double-decker carousel from the 30th Street Jolly Roger Amusement Park would be relocated to Trimper’s Rides so a new double-decker carousel from the aforementioned Chance Rides would be placed in the same new location as the old one!
I would like to petition for the removal of Looping Star, and here are the reasons: A: It is too uncomfortable B: It broke my mother's earring C: It would be much cheaper to just get a Eurofighter, maintenance costs would have to be high The only thing I like about Looping Star is the ejector airtime that you get off of the drop in the back row.

That WildCat ride came from ValleyFair in MN where I used to ride it in the 80s and 90s. It was called Wild Rails back then. Built in 79.
I love ocean city I go every summer🙃
Me to🥴👏🏾
Well atleast we try to😂💕

I used to love to go on the rides when I was 4 or 5.
the waterpark gets PACKED during the summer.
I go here all of the time and I have never paid 50 cents to go on the pier 🤣
Thank u 4 the tour !!!!! I plan to visit the park for my honeymoon !!!! I DID hit the ' like ' button !
I haven’t been to OC Maryland in years. I bet it’s grown alot

They own 2 properties not several. I have been working at Trimpers since 94.
also a little note on the splash mountain waterpark: it is one of the dirtiest waterparks i’ve ever been to.
The Splash Mountain water park should improve itself so it could be better and cleaner for all families and I wanna see a new water park for the OCMD Boardwalk!
Jungle Jim’s in Rehoboth is a lot better. It’s worth the 35 minute drive from OCMD (5 minutes from my house in Dewey Beach)
I have been to ocean city md twice an both time I had a great time it was a bus a trip🙂🙃
*shows up the haunted house*
Nothing to scary just pitch black and there and a little stumps
*hears kids screaming bloody murder
the twister is one of the best rides!!

That roller coaster is rough. I had a headache all night.
We’re here at Ocean City, my mom and I went on the roller coaster. She was laughing at me the entire time because of my reaction 😂😂😂😂
I actually live near ocean City and it get so hot
Jacob Woods exactly
Jacob Woods i do too live in hagerstown
THAT’S WHERE I LIVEEEEEEE
Is that a lot of big and small splats of bird poop on the ground
Nice video of Jolly Roger, only correction is ocean city beach stretches for 10 miles not 5

The only thing I like about Looping Star is the ejector airtime that you get off of the drop in the back row.
BTW, I rank Looping Star BELOW Trailblazer at Hersheypark and Rollo Coaster at Idlewild
A new roller coaster might be a good replacement for the pier’s Looping Star!
Make one of Wildwood NJ
It's on my list.
ARE THE RIDES FREE
Nope. You can either pay for individual ride tickets or an all-day wrist band.
Jay Ducharme it is the carnival setup thing
