She is such a beauty. She could rock a pixie cut. It’s so hard being a young mommy and not being able to afford a salon. I remember those days. Wishing her all the best
Yes, that´s what I was thinking when she mentioned someone told her ash tones suits her, nature knows better...although I understand the feeling of wanting a change of look
It wouldn't matter because they told her the wrong toner anyway. Sally employees are NOT hairstylists. I've fixed soooo many people's hair who were given bad advice from them.
@@janetvandenassem8401I’m not a stylist and even I can tell the people at Sally’s usually don’t know what they’re talking about. I try to figure out exactly what I want before going there so that I can just buy my stuff and leave.
I saw this one. Thankfully she went to the salon, got a makeover with her hair and it looks amazing on her. She is very happy with it so her story did not end badly.
It breaks my heart to see this happen to anyone. Impatience and lack of knowledge seem to be their downfall. I know it can cost a lot of money to pay for a stylist but save the money you buy on product and go to a professional. It’s worth the price to not feel the way this girl did
The red was actually beautiful on her, much more so than the blue-black or any other cool tones. I don't know anything about skin tones and color theories, but she looks lovely in warm tones.
I liked her hair after the first application when it was red tbh. I’m so glad I don’t do home hairdressing now…when I was in my early 20’s, I did bleach highlights at home, twice & I learned my lesson well & truly! I made an utter mess of my naturally auburn hair…twice! I only let professional hairdressers, with good reviews, touch my hair now. Also, I fell in love with my natural hair colour in my late 20’s & I rarely do colouring these days. I love having healthy hair more than anything. Watching your videos, Hair Buddha, is addictive! I feel sorry for these people but it is fun to watch! 💇♀️
Brad did a review of this girl and she had it fixed in a salon and the stylist performed a miracle. Her hair was absolutely stunning. I don't think hair Buddah will mind you dropping into Brads and seeing the awesome finale.
Unpopular opinion: your natural colour may be your best colour. I simpky cover my grays with my colour, and I love the results. Some blue conditioner once a month give me the control I need over reds, and having healthy hair is much better looking than having damaged hair of any fancy colour. Just my opinion.
Maybe buying a wig would be smarter than destroying your natural hair. So if you want to be platinum blonde and then dark the next day, you could buy two wigs.
It would also be really helpful if you could do a video explaining when you should do a bleach bath and how to do it properly. I know you've mentioned it in your videos before, but it would be good to have one video as reference.
Its too bad Sally's doesn't carry patience to go with some of the products. Sometimes the only thing that'll help after that is Time, and even then it can't make a miracle happen.
My sister tried dark brown..that on her turned black...she left it alone for a whole year. We called it her Cruella Deville phase. She never ever dyed her beautiful auburn hair again, she was smart enough to let it grow out rather than bleach it. This poor girl she went from extreme to extreme..and neither looked good😱😱
This one made me sad. She is clearly so upset and no fixing it now. Hopefully she’ll leave and it alone for a while. I’m amazed at how many videos you find like this. I get that the salon is expensive. But natural hair is still beautiful!
People are just too ignorant. She knows that you shouldn't pull on freshly bleached and very compromised hair, but she does ist anyway. It's not a lack of knowledge that causes so many hair fails, it's that people know what not to do but they do it anyways.
Hair buddha I was thinking of going blonde. My hair is a level 2/3 I’d like to get to a level 9. If I got a root shadow how often would I need to go to the salon to get a root touch up? 😊
Hello from Poland 😁 you used the form like we use in Polish language " kookoo" 🤣😂 as I have heard English people say " picaboo" and I think our form is funnier and better 😊 have a nice day and week 🤗
When I was younger, dark brown was always the go to, black was far too spooky lol. Whenever I hear someone say "I've been dying it black for x amount of time", this feeling of extreme doom comes over me 😂
The color chart/ season analysis is really interesting though. I’m by all accounts a cool winter, i have fair olive skin tone, and they say white platinum is the only blonde that suits me. Well i’ve been all shades of platinum and i look so dead. Literally hate it with my complexion.
Been there done that, years ago. But my noodles were slim green like Slimmer from Ghost Busters. I can do another's hair, but for my own OFF to the SALON because I can't do the back of my head. Thank HB!
Oh Gosh! They still do it. Why is so hard to understand not touch if you are not pro. I am pro from 30ish years and I am still surprized by people. Buddha you have angelic patience when you look at that and comment. Really.
I feel so bad for this young lady and I understand how expensive a professional costs but We train for years before we become educated and it is worth it to let us do it . Wigs are a better choice if you want a quick change . ✌🏼wishing everyone Joy .
Listen the information is out there nowadays. An easy search. Why do they get so upset when they knowingly do the wrong thing and they expect the results to come out differently. Power of thought can’t out do hair science. I almost never feel bad for these people because it’s temporary.
Got to say when I was thinking about going blonde, I had really dark hair but lots of greys coming through, I figured because I’m naturally dark, then the opposite would suit me! Know idea where I got that from! Tried many shades of darker blonde, medium blonde, baby blonde etc over many months of lockdown just doing a bleach bath every couple of weeks then conditioning and treatments in between etc etc, and none of those colours looked right on me till I finally got to platinum probably a year or so later! Thank god it’s easier doing the roots, especially with my hair Buddha knowledge! Blondeme, 20vol for about 45 mins and bobs your uncle!😂
I have no sympathy for anyone that does this to their hair. I feel like they are making a mockery of the hair industry and of hairdressers in general. I take my job very seriously and do my very best to put great hair out there, and then there are people that put videos like this up, trying to make what I went to school to learn how to do the right way, look so easy that anyone can do it, which gives other people ideas, and then when they mess their hair up as well are the first ones to complain about the price of the color correction when they come in for us to fix it.
Oh goodness. Now that's a FAIL. Poor thing. I used ash blonde once and got a green tinge. Just slightly. Never again. It must have blue undertones or something. I use violet now only and it works well enough.
U know those ppl who give the vibes of a new manager starting on the 1st day of the new job trying to tackle all of responsibilities without doing some "training" or reconnaissance 😂🤦♀️ ....that's her 🤷♀️ bleaching and toning is not that simple

She’s so fair and has such GORGEOUS skin. . I bet her natural hair is perfect for her. Funny how that works.

I'm glad you enjoy my reactions! It's always great to mix humor with education in the world of hairdressing.
She doesn't listen, the Sally's consultant told her to leave it alone for 48 hours, the next day she put a toner on it.

The red was cute. She should have stopped there.

Spoiler alert .
Yep, i saw this one too just recently on the other wizards channel.
Haha the baby looking at her like wtf you doing mom
Always a great idea to start bleaching with 2 tiny bleach packages 😂
Love that
😂😂
Yes. 1st rule of any “color adventure” is never buy enough product to cover the amount of hair you have 😂✅
Red is always waiting there in the wings to come back to haunt you. Red always makes it's return like a villian in a horror movie.
True had my wars with red, thing with me is I love it for maybe 2 weeks then bored with and want it gone
Now picturing the red hair dropping off the villains knife 😂😂
0:22 Her baby in the back was giving her a sign not to dye her hair 😂
😂 coo coo, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack I freaking love you HB
Probably I told this before but I like your style so much. Your shirts and accessories looking so cool together 🤩
Very dark brown is, to me, better than black dye for most people. It has the same effect, but it's generally gentler-looking
I agree

She looks good at the red level.....that's a nice color on her 4:06
So many times they look better at the midway point.
