It wouldn't matter because they told her the wrong toner anyway. Sally employees are NOT hairstylists. I've fixed soooo many people's hair who were given bad advice from them.
@@janetvandenassem8401I’m not a stylist and even I can tell the people at Sally’s usually don’t know what they’re talking about. I try to figure out exactly what I want before going there so that I can just buy my stuff and leave.
I saw this one. Thankfully she went to the salon, got a makeover with her hair and it looks amazing on her. She is very happy with it so her story did not end badly.
She is such a beauty. She could rock a pixie cut. It’s so hard being a young mommy and not being able to afford a salon. I remember those days. Wishing her all the best
Yes, that´s what I was thinking when she mentioned someone told her ash tones suits her, nature knows better...although I understand the feeling of wanting a change of look
The red was actually beautiful on her, much more so than the blue-black or any other cool tones. I don't know anything about skin tones and color theories, but she looks lovely in warm tones.
I liked her hair after the first application when it was red tbh. I’m so glad I don’t do home hairdressing now…when I was in my early 20’s, I did bleach highlights at home, twice & I learned my lesson well & truly! I made an utter mess of my naturally auburn hair…twice! I only let professional hairdressers, with good reviews, touch my hair now. Also, I fell in love with my natural hair colour in my late 20’s & I rarely do colouring these days. I love having healthy hair more than anything. Watching your videos, Hair Buddha, is addictive! I feel sorry for these people but it is fun to watch! 💇♀️
It breaks my heart to see this happen to anyone. Impatience and lack of knowledge seem to be their downfall. I know it can cost a lot of money to pay for a stylist but save the money you buy on product and go to a professional. It’s worth the price to not feel the way this girl did
that is true! my original hair colour is jet black so black works on me but the amount of people who dyed their hair black sometimes have this "artificial" flat look. the colour "swallows" the light, making the result look very very odd
Its too bad Sally's doesn't carry patience to go with some of the products. Sometimes the only thing that'll help after that is Time, and even then it can't make a miracle happen.
It would also be really helpful if you could do a video explaining when you should do a bleach bath and how to do it properly. I know you've mentioned it in your videos before, but it would be good to have one video as reference.
Not me watching bleach fail videos before updating my roots(bleaching them)! Ahhh why do i do this to myself? It just ramps up my anxiety before i go in!
@ I just love him! He’s saved my hair in so many ways! I cringe at what I used to do to it!🤣 I still wanna know where he gets his rings from, they’re right up my street!
If you're trying to grow out your hair, you have to be GENTLE with it! You have to protect it! That means LESS changing and MORE treating. Lean towards health first and pamper your hair. Get a trim. Do more masks. Embrace the right hair products for your hair type. Limit heat, color & styling products, and harsh styles. Finger detangle and brush gently and patiently. Protect your hair at night.
Brad did a review of this girl and she had it fixed in a salon and the stylist performed a miracle. Her hair was absolutely stunning. I don't think hair Buddah will mind you dropping into Brads and seeing the awesome finale.
Unpopular opinion: your natural colour may be your best colour. I simpky cover my grays with my colour, and I love the results. Some blue conditioner once a month give me the control I need over reds, and having healthy hair is much better looking than having damaged hair of any fancy colour. Just my opinion.
Hair buddha I was thinking of going blonde. My hair is a level 2/3 I’d like to get to a level 9. If I got a root shadow how often would I need to go to the salon to get a root touch up? 😊
This one made me sad. She is clearly so upset and no fixing it now. Hopefully she’ll leave and it alone for a while. I’m amazed at how many videos you find like this. I get that the salon is expensive. But natural hair is still beautiful!
When I was younger, dark brown was always the go to, black was far too spooky lol. Whenever I hear someone say "I've been dying it black for x amount of time", this feeling of extreme doom comes over me 😂
As a former goth who almost singlehandedly kept Clairol in business in the 90s, I feel fight or flight around black box dye now 😂 omg it took SO LONG to just not have black hair anymore. The ironic part is I thought I was keeping my hair healthy by using semi-permanent dye but nobody tells you that semi-permanent black dye is _harder_ to get out than permanent, so for anyone reading this who's thinking of coloring their hair black- first off don't, but if you must do it then at least use permanent dye. I don't know what it is about semi-perm black dye, but bleach barely touches it(at least the black dye I used anyway). It might work on a single application of it but for folks like me who had years worth of it in their hair... yeah it ain't coming out. Since the black debacle I've bleached out other semi-perm colors with little issue, but the black barely budged and my hair got fried so bad I went from butt-length to bob. My roots were orange and my ends were still black, it looked so bad I just gave up and dyed it all black again. I tried growing it out but was too impatient and hated having two-toned hair, so I just kept dyeing it black long after the goth phase passed. It's just hair but it was really upsetting, I desperately wanted my natural brown hair back but I was stuck with black. The only thing that finally broke the cycle was switching to permanent black dye for several years then lifting that out with Color Oops and a bleach bath. Y'all have been warned lol. Just don't do it ☠
Hello from Poland 😁 you used the form like we use in Polish language " kookoo" 🤣😂 as I have heard English people say " picaboo" and I think our form is funnier and better 😊 have a nice day and week 🤗
I feel so bad for this young lady and I understand how expensive a professional costs but We train for years before we become educated and it is worth it to let us do it . Wigs are a better choice if you want a quick change . ✌🏼wishing everyone Joy .
The color chart/ season analysis is really interesting though. I’m by all accounts a cool winter, i have fair olive skin tone, and they say white platinum is the only blonde that suits me. Well i’ve been all shades of platinum and i look so dead. Literally hate it with my complexion.
Been there done that, years ago. But my noodles were slim green like Slimmer from Ghost Busters. I can do another's hair, but for my own OFF to the SALON because I can't do the back of my head. Thank HB!
Oh Gosh! They still do it. Why is so hard to understand not touch if you are not pro. I am pro from 30ish years and I am still surprized by people. Buddha you have angelic patience when you look at that and comment. Really.
People are just too ignorant. She knows that you shouldn't pull on freshly bleached and very compromised hair, but she does ist anyway. It's not a lack of knowledge that causes so many hair fails, it's that people know what not to do but they do it anyways.
Going from black to blonde is another commitment. She can't even commit to doing her black roots. She would have saved herself a lot of heartache just to go to the salon at the start and they would have told her okay we need to have three appointments about a week apart so that we can not fry your hair.
Got to say when I was thinking about going blonde, I had really dark hair but lots of greys coming through, I figured because I’m naturally dark, then the opposite would suit me! Know idea where I got that from! Tried many shades of darker blonde, medium blonde, baby blonde etc over many months of lockdown just doing a bleach bath every couple of weeks then conditioning and treatments in between etc etc, and none of those colours looked right on me till I finally got to platinum probably a year or so later! Thank god it’s easier doing the roots, especially with my hair Buddha knowledge! Blondeme, 20vol for about 45 mins and bobs your uncle!😂
Oh goodness. Now that's a FAIL. Poor thing. I used ash blonde once and got a green tinge. Just slightly. Never again. It must have blue undertones or something. I use violet now only and it works well enough.
I loved the red "cukoo!" She actually would look great in a dark auburn or deep violet with her skin tone and dark eyes
She doesn't listen, the Sally's consultant told her to leave it alone for 48 hours, the next day she put a toner on it.
ALWAYS listen to the Sally employees!! They see the results of fails!

Yep, i saw this one too just recently on the other wizards channel.
She’s so fair and has such GORGEOUS skin. . I bet her natural hair is perfect for her. Funny how that works.
