- Welcome to the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the Valley of 72 WATERFALLS! This is one of the most exciting regions to visit in Switzerland, as it is full of natural wonders! Most people may be familiar with the village of Lauterbrunnen. It is in particular well-known for the Staubbachfall that seems to drop into the village. Lauterbrunnen is very nice to explore, especially during Summer when it is decorated with the many flags; very Swiss feeling! There are a couple of great Instagram spots in Lauterbrunnen, so make sure to roam a bit around the village to take good photos. You may also go almost behind the Staubbachfalls to get a better impression. There is a lot more to experience in the Lauterbrunnen valley! Consider taking the train up to Wengen, another really nice village to explore. Wengen is car-free and thus a perfect destination for families. You may go up to the Männlichen Mountain to enjoy a nice view over the Lauterbrunnen valley of hike down to Lauterbrunnen itself! The hike is going to be very scenic with the many green hills, typical for Switzerland. If you want to aim for higher altitudes, then go up to the Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in all of Europe. You are going to be at the top of the Swiss Alps and you may enjoy a fantastic view over the Aletsch Glacier. The Aletsch Glacier is the largest glacier of the Alps. Inside the Aletsch Glacier is also the Ice Palace, another major attraction up on the Jungfraujoch. The best view however will be up on the platform sphinx. The Trümmelbachfalls are the most interesting waterfalls to visit in the Lauterbrunnen valley and probably even in all of Switzerland. They are hidden in between the rocks and have been fascinating many visitors. The water is very cold as it directly comes from the glaciers. The best panorama you may get on the Schilthorn, the location where James Bond in her Majesty’s secret service was filmed! You will get a brilliant 360° view over the Swiss Alps and the iconic mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Enjoy your lunch at the revolving restaurant to have an unforgettable experience. Consider also a short visit to the village of Mürren, another car-free village in the Lauterbrunnen valley. So many great thing to experience in the Lauterbrunnen valley, the valley of 72 waterfalls! Make sure to not miss out this great place when coming to Switzerland!

@@amiriqbal5533 Hi Amir. I have seen the beautiful nature of Pakistan online. It's really impressive. I like Gilgit-Baltistan the most. That's the place that interests me the most to visit. There are these tibetan style Balti mosques that I find interesting. I like to visit religious places (Bhuddhist, Hindu, Tao and Shinto Temples as well as Churches Synagogues and mosques), I always admire their architecture.

When we were there, we did the obvious trips to Jungfraujoch, Schlithorn and Trummelbach but the cable car from Wengen to Mannlichen was a surprise one and we really enjoyed that. We stayed at Lauterbrunnen for several days and the view of slowly climbing yellow trains from our window is a memory I will never forget.

Lauterbrunnen looks absolutely stunning. It looks like a wonderful town and the giant waterfall is a great perk as well. When I travel, I love going on walks or hikes and it certainly looks like a great place to do that. Great video!
Hi Jen. Definitely you should visit Lauterbrunnen. However, the village is easily explored within 1 hour. Take more time to explore the surrounding, with its many waterfalls. Probably riding a bicycle from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg may be a great idea as well! I hope you will have an unforgettably beautiful time at the Lauterbrunnen Valley!
We stayed in Wengen . Had may walks in this area.

I was there in September, and I walked from Kleine Scheidegg down to Lauterbrunnen. It was truly jaw dropping. I didn't get to the Trummelbach falls due to time, but the downhill hike was totally worth it, and very easy.

@@DjemoGraphic I never got to Schilthorn either, but I've been to 'Top of Europe' and stayed at Gornergrat (my one splurge). I find staying in the villages better than staying in the resorts.

For years Lauterbrunnen Valley has been my favorite hiking destination. So many beautiful panoramic hiking routes. And everything is so clean and perfectly organized in Switerland. It's quite expensive though.
Do you reccomend any short ish ( less than 1.5-2 hour) hikes with the best views? I am having trouble
@@stevencats7137 Go by cablecar from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp.
From there either walk direction Mürren or go to Mürren by train from Grütschalp. You will then experience wonderful panorama views on Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

My favorite place would be Lauterbrunnen village ( though it's tough to choose one because all the places are beautiful to each other )
It would be better if you could have added Gimmelwald, the cute little village nearby Murren. Very informative and beautiful video as usual. I am so happy that I visited almost all the places you mentioned in this video.
Lauterbrunnen valley ( Bernese Oberland ( Bern ) ) is my favorite in Switzerland.

I was hiking arround Mürren on my last Day last September 18th but sadly the Weather was Rainy and it was also Snowing i didn't saw this Giesbachfalls😔. But i am definitely comming back i the Beautiful Switzerland ✊️.

I am bringing my Mini Pro 4 drone and I would keep the weight under 249gms and I registered with the UAS-gate. I would just be flying recreationally. Do I need anything else?
