Yes, Norway is a gem. The only problem is that the summer (and all those serene sceneries depicted in this video).. is so short... Then comes the cold, dark, and snow covered scenery, especially in the center to northern parts. I passed the article circle once to see the midnight sun; I can't imagine I could have survived there more then 2 days in winter and almost 24 hours of darkness.
I have been travelling through Norway for the past three weeks by bus and have visited many, but not all of the places you have mentioned, but a great deal of rain has been my companion, and now high winds, but, none of that has detracted from my visit, for all it means is that, I shall be back! Thank you Norway, and your charming people, from the people of Millbrook, Cornwall.
Absolutely breathtaking! Norway's stunning landscapes and vibrant culture are truly a wonder to behold. From the majestic fjords to the charming coastal villages, every scene is like a painting come to life. Can't wait to visit someday!
I’m a Norwegian living in the US, ready for retirement. I already know most of Norway, but some areas I haven’t been to, many of the most iconic hikes. Oslo is a great city,it’s where I would chose to live if I moved back, because it’s more cosmopolitan, way more when I left back in the 1980’s. My approach to visiting Norway will be a slow journey, combining coastal voyages by ferry and ships, with car rental, going into the fjord land. I plan to start in Stavanger, and slowly work myself north to Kirkenes, which is my birthplace. On the way back I suggest going inland, to cover what the costal route does not reach. Norway is a skinny country by and large, just Finnmark and Sothern Norway is a little fat, if you will. The video skipped the Atlantic Road Scenic Highway between Kristiansund and Moldø. This has been James The one of the most scenic drives in the world by most know it alls.
what an incredible journey! Your vivid descriptions transported me right into the heart of Norway - I could almost feel the crisp air of the fjords and hear the thundering waterfalls. The combination of stunning natural landscapes, rich history, and unique cultural experiences makes me want to pack my bags right now! The idea of witnessing the Northern Lights in Tromsø or standing on the edge of Pulpit Rock gave me chills. I can’t wait to explore these hidden gems and experience Norway’s magic firsthand. This video has truly sparked my wanderlust!
Norway is such a breathtaking country! 😍 From the majestic fjords and Northern Lights to the charming cities like Bergen and Oslo, every corner seems like a postcard. This video really captures the magic and tranquility of this beautiful land. Definitely adding Norway to my bucket list! 🇳🇴✨
I’m a Norwegian American! My Paternal grandfather and great-grandmother were from Norway!! My Grandfather immigrated to the USA from Sorte Braaten, Norway with his Mother in 1877! And my Great Grandmother immigrated to the USA from Telemark, Norway with her brother in 1873! I have always wanted to visit my grandparents ancestral homeland, however I just haven’t been able to manage a trip there yet! 😩🤷🏽♂️
Stumbled upon this video today. Immediately subscribed & then watched the Sweden video. I like this Norway video better simply because you show us on a map where each location is. Had to pause the Sweden video & look up locations. Great video!!!
Nice to see the Kristiansten fortress in Trondheim, where I spent my childhood in the fifties, just a couple of minutes' walk away. Good old memories come up! Although close to the center there is much forest in the area - a perfect place to grow up!
I'm Norwegian. There is actually some footage that is not from Norway in this video. A lot of the facts is also quite misleading. Do your own research guys:)
My family is from Susort - Southern Part of Norway - our last name is Susort. It is a small town I would love to see photos from a drone of the area. Thank you for sharing my heritage - from Washington State, USA
My family comes from Oslo, wish I could go there, they used to visit every summer to my house in NY! Then stopped in 1984! Haven't seen them since, sad! The olsens!
when you land at Gardermoen airport. I recommend that you find a hotel nearby and explore the area arround the airport. This place has a history spanning over 5000 years. A Viking burial mound named Raknehaugen(northern europes biggest burial mound) close to it. An ancient forrest not far from the airport, where you can find a downed WW2 airplane and plants which growes only there. There's atleast 3-4 days worth of exploring, arround that area.
Hi thank you for sharing, i wonder how many days it takes to see all those wonderful Places in Norway any tips? I live in Switzerland and Norway is one of the Country i would love to see 😍😇
Your name tells me u are norwegian and probably young. And probably sitting in your boyroom every evening and nigths only gaming (plus some youtube). Try just one time to go outdoor in daylight and watch the beautiful nature that surrounds u. Your country is the most beautiful place on earth, and its real, gaming is just fake fantasy that infects and occupies your brain!
