@@patricklachance2196 your factory brake hose and vac source to interior actuators for heat a/c should have a check valve in it already. you can run your pcv system from the intake side of the supercharger then to a catch can and from the catch can to the pcv/fixed orifice on the valve cover which will eliminate the need for external check valves. If you do have a need for a check valve they are simple to install, the side you cant blow through goes towards the vac source. I have plenty of supercharger install pics!

The LSA w/ZL1 lid looked like it would come close but this seems much better. Any belt slip issues or crank pulley issues thus far? Did you have to pin the crank?
I'd like to see one plumbed directly to the throttle body, and the intake above the hood, or in the grill. I bet you would get a lot more HP that way. No?
Curious why a kit that expensive wouldn't have what you need without having to improvise and have to hit up part's stores over and over. Back when I was running the $2500 and $3000 superchargers on my 95 and 94, yeah..you had to go to message boards and to part's stores to make your kits fit right....but for nearly $10k now days for the same HP gains....you should never have to be running to the store for things like you had to do... Did you buy an incomplete kit from the guy? Sounds great though

hows it going looks like mine well kinda haha i have a 2005 blazer with a 6.0 and a LS3 intake cam,and torqstorm super charger a T56 6 speed manual and i have the Ls3 injectors right now we did some pulls and my stock tach is off some so i kept shifting early at 5200 rpm haha we ran out of injectors making 539 torque to the tires now thats me shifting too early so if i would have shifted at 6 or 6200 it would have been more,he wants to play around and do something else with the injectors i forgot what its called to trick the ecu for them to do something but question on stock gas and everything i have do you think 65 psi injectors will work my friend has a set for 150 bucks,im just looking to get around 600 something to the tires and i mean were super close now at 6200 rpms im probably at like 545 or something you know,im not rich by any means it took me yrs to get to this point lol
@@fantasma_tx I sold my 5th gen where I put a built trans and a heads cam package in. It now has the torq storm supercharger. I’ve read good and bad about it. Seems like they fixed the bearing issue. I now have the chance to buy it back so I wanted to do my due diligence on the unit

Yes. I ran a Monster Twin Disc Clutch along with a DSS Single Piece Driveshaft. Apart from those things, I was on the Stock Transmission, Stock Differential and Stock Axles(which held up surprisingly).
Is the cam you have the Texas Speed F-35? Just wondering because I ordered a torquestorm a few weeks ago and that is the cam that is currently in my car and I'm wondering how well it works with boost.
This cam is horrible for boost and will hold your car back the same as it does his. TSP will tell you directly NOT to run this cam with forced induction because its so bad for a boosted application.
@@johnjames3504 Im still running it and it’s doing just fine. Yes a Boost Cam will be more beneficial however, they really stand out when you’re applying it to a Turbo setup rather than a Centrifugal Supercharger setup which doesn’t rely on exhaust gasses to spin the turbine. I personally do not find it cost effective to tear apart the engine just to throw in a Boost Cam and re-do the Valve Train. Maybe when the time comes to update the Valve Train, I’ll consider installing a Boost Cam.
I wanted to get an lsa supercharger seems easier but the torqstorm supercharger is another option I'm just worried about being able to run ac in my swap also how does the torqstorm supercharger sound you know does it make a nice whine of any kind or does it sound more like a turbo?

Absolutely. LS3’s and L99’s from what I’ve seen can handle up to 700 reliably as long as the tune itself is solid and you have enough fuel. I’ve heard of guys pushing 800-900 on stock bottom end but that’s a little sketchy in my opinion.
Patrick Lachance When I was N/A I made mid 500’s. Hard to say a specific number because I went to the dyno on radials and the dyno supposedly read low.

Sounds great. You can definitely hear the boost come in stronger up top since it’s a centrifugal blower.

I have the same supercharger on my ls2 403 in a 2004 GTO, make sure you have check valves in your vacuum hoses or youll lose boost in the crankcase
How is the motor and torqstorm still holding up and how hp did you see from the setup

I'm considering this kit on my G8 GXP (LS3). Kooks longtubes, stock cam, ZL1 pump, 80lb injectors. Hoping to make 500 with the 8psi pulley.

The best and most accurate way I would describe the sound of a Torqstorm supercharger is comparing it to a jet engine.
